Man I need these in an 8 string size for my Multiscale 7 string. The Nazgûl Sentient combo is incredible and the added clarity the rail design brings is a hugely welcome ingredient and fits the aesthetic of my guitar which is an added bonus.
A real sleeper Duncan Is the Parallel Axis series pickups! The PATB1 Is a lot like a more refined JB. all of the Parallel Axis pickups are really good though. They looked different so a lot of people didn't bother Given them a Chance.
Been using them since the late 80's. Great pickups. I have Parker Nitefly with HSH Parallel Axis pups and series/split/tap switches on each pickup. The tones are amazing.
this is super sick dude, rails were always the coolest way to build pickups. i hope this means more are coming. also, get the hawkbucker out of the custom shop and into standard production cmon
I've always used the JB/Jazz combo. I've always felt the JB didn't clean up well. I think this rail version cleans up better than the traditional design but I need more comparisons.
The Dimebucker is a signature model. It's icky to release signature models without the input of the person signing them. Even if Dime's estate has been less than ethical about this.
@@gab.lab.martins So is the JB. It was made for Jeff Beck, and since the JB is being by players not familiar with Beck;'s music, a similar argument could be made with the Dimebucker.
@@Ghaos it was made for Jeff Beck, but Jeff never officially endorsed it, so they renamed it the Jazz/Blues Pickup and released it as a standard, non-signature model.
@@gab.lab.martins Also, I think its important to remember that the Dimebucker is Bill Lawrence XL500 (???) clone. So its as much of a 'clone" as it is a sig pickup. As long as it doesn't have Abbots name on it, I believe it won't run afoul of licensing issues from the Abbott estate.
I am not sure how the hell you guys fit those in those pick up rings?I just wasted my money on these pickups and tried them with six different pick up rings and they will not fit inside any of them.
This is cool and all, but you already had amazing rail pickups Jupiters, which you should be marketing way way more than you are. Almost no one knows about those and they sound better than probably whole 99% of Seymour Duncan pickups. It's really a shame not to include them in this video.
I am a fan of Seymour Duncan pickups, have four of them. That could be 5 or 6 if you made replacements for a Gibson EB type bass (especially the EB 3) But always a lot of options to consider.
@@stevenmossios7902 im surprised that they did nazgul with alnico 8, jb might be fine with it but why nazgul.. there is still jupiter rail set wes hauch signature and it has ceramics btw
Dude is knocking out some serious riffs 🤘🏻
Seriously ... Very rightfully a product specialist!
Really classy guitar playing. Love this.

The Sentient to me always feels like a more balanced jazz. I love both.
Cool didn’t see this coming
Love the warriors. Coolest shape out there
Awesome guitar playing! Awesome selection of guitars! just an awesome video!

Yes I second this. Black Winter rails please 🙏
@@CodyRobertShaw I called the Custom Shop last night. Apparently it’s in the works and coming sooner than you think 🤐
@@genghisghostno shit?!
I want the sh-6b/Duncan Distortion
I wonder if it's even possible with the magnet construction
The Nazgul and especially the SENTIENT in rail form sounds so good for lead
Very cool, would love to fit some to a build. But really what we need is a direct comparison of the rail vs traditional...

that's the exact one that Rich Ward from the Band Stuck Mojo uses.
Brandon Ellis from The Black Dahlia Murder is an avid supporter of the Parallel Axis series.

Will there be a Black Winter Rail?
The Nazgul sounds really really good.

I need Blackened Black Winter Rails 😩🙏
would love to hear direct comparisons between JB rails and regular JB
Yum!
Now we need to see how a Pegasus rail would come out.
Hope the Custom will get the same treatment
hope the bobbins and rails can be customized to different colors or finishes.
Please please please offer these with black rails
can we get queen bucker set and enclairs w/o custom order now?

id go with wes hauch's pickup if you want a similar eq'd 7 string pickup.
alternate 8 ?
I want a Screamin Demon rail.
Do you guys intend to expand this series to other models, like the SH5 & SH6? Also, could you make a direct comparison video, pole pieces vs. rails?

Please develop some pickup covers for these rail pickups, specifically black/gold/raw nickel covers
