    I am from Cochin,Kerala. And it hurt my feelings when some of them talked about India potraying it in a bad way. When Jews came to our land, we welcomed them wholeheartedly, unlike many parts of the world where they were tortured. They lived in India without any instances of antisemitism from the local majority populace.
    So when commenting about a country that your own ancestors chose to live, being a little nice is appreciated.
    And as a Christian we pray for Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem. So Shalom ✌

      I am also from Cochin . no need to be so sensitive towards negative opinion . i dont think his intention was to insult rather an general impression of our country .we should improve our nation that is what matters . They expressed their mind . just because some oftheir forefathers lived here out of desperation doesnt mean next generation are required to praise this place and say LA LA LA I LOVE INDIA. it is human nature to find better place of an era . even you will do it today .Our forefathers made a better place unfortunately ,today it is not like that for many . it is not their fault . if you want fake praises then better not watch such opinion-based shows in the first place.

      d c I agree. I know our country needs improvement. That was Not my point. My reaction was to some of them, where they saw India 'ONLY' as a third world country. They spoke as though someone forced them to live in such a dirty country. Nobody did that. And I am a proud Indian and I understand that we have a long way to go.

Kerala state is one of the most beautiful places on planet Earth. India is a subcontinent, the main stream media only show the bad side of India. If India was so dirty what was British Empire doing for 250 years in India ???? U can watch Sashi taroor speech at Oxford University titled " does Britain owe India repatriation " having more than 6 million views. Again a Jew is one who obeys the commandments of God. India has a very long history. I think the prudery comes from the British times; despite all the vicissitudes of the Mughal occupation they were by and by more liberal despite enormous loss of life arising from successive Muslim invasions.
      I was referring to the "my religion is better than yours" model which is built in to Abrahamic religions. As in Roman times, polytheistic and multi-cultural religions tend not to take this "holier than thou" approach.
      I believe India also hosts a whole range of philosophical movements that simply don't assert religious supremacy.

    Two criticisms I have for this video:
    1) Asking people, irrespective of ethnic origin, would you go back to your country of your grandparents to live. Can you imagine asking black Americans, would you go back to Africa to live, I think can be quite offensive and I think the question is pointless, because I notice everyone who answers that, says no.
    2) Many people in the video are not fully 100% Indian origin in terms of their parents. Filming in Beersheba, a city in southern Israel would get you a better proportion of full ethnic Indian Jews, rather than Tel Aviv.

      theworldvideos1 He asks this controversial question every time because he's addressing one of the main points anti-Israel people say, that "we should go back" to the diaspora. And it might seem offensive, but not so much in Israel. Because other than a few indigenous ones, everyone Israeli has refugee parents/grandparents. Everyone.
      It's not like how black Americans were forced to go to U.S. through slavery - asking them "why don't you go back to Africa" would be a sickening thought. Among ourselves (Jews), we can talk about our diaspora stuff. How anti-Israel people decide we should "go back" is just as sickening, considering the circumstances of which led to our refugee migrations to Israel.

      @Mohammed Fawaz and @Siyvaxsh. One mughal emperor aurangazeb killed 4.6 million hindus. Here is a brief glimpse from his life of how he treated the the sikh guru tegh bahadur and his 3 disciples - Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das, Bhai Dyal Das. Guru Tegh bahadur was martyed for not accepting islam. Bhai Mati das received the worst - He was sawed vertically alive in chandi chowk (main market place in delhi), Bhai Mati Das was tied up and boiled alive in hot oil and Bhai Dyal das was boiled in hot water. You guys still have the same inhuman genes and attitude of aurangazeb. Killing fellow humans with no soul and no passtion and pure raw hate. Ever wonder where such hate comes from ? It comes from your faith and religion. Islam takes away humanity and makes you people into animals. Pure animals with nothing but hate. Here are links to these true stories. At least have a heart when you read it honestly and when you spew hate against hindus and sikhs. You have had so much killing and massacred so many millions of hindus and sikhs yet you call them cowards and hate them so much? For what ? Because your book calls them Kafirs? Because you feel they are ugly , black and cowards ? Listen to yourselves. Is islam really a religion of peace and compassion ? YOu are contradicting yourself and not changed a bit from the that day when people are boiled and cut alive with a saw. So disgusting. ISIS is doing that and you guys are talking like this on youtube ? And you want everybody to believe your prophet was a peace loving man with a soul? Hahaha Yuck. Start by saying one nice thing about hindus and sikhs just for the horrible death of these four people. COme one say one nice sentence of empathy and sadness at least after reading how they died here :en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhai_Dayala , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhai_Mati_Das , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhai_Sati_Das , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Tegh_Bahadur . Most of these Indians don't seem to want to embrace their Indian heritage, most likely due to racism in Israel. It has been noted that the Indian Jews were Syrians who fled there over 2,000 years ago. Some said India is dirty and that's probably true if you live in a densely populated city such as Mumbai. If you leave the city things get better. Also, India is rebuilding, building and built new cities from ground up that would be hard to differentiate from a modern Western city.

      Good observation - Not a surprise since each 'community' is essentially a mix (to various degrees) of Levantine Israelites plus converts from their host populations. In other words Ashkeanzim = Levantine Israelites + South/Central/East Euro, Sephardim = Levantine Israelites + Iberian/South/SW Euro...Indian Jews = Levantine Israelites + South Asians.And not surprisingly Mizrahi Jews 'look' the most 'Jewish' (in the Middle Eastern sense) since they are a mix of Levantine Israelites + various Middle Eastern/West Asian converts. In other words, Mizrahim, as a whole absorbed populations originally genetically and phenotipically closest to 'Levantine Israelites'. But as you also noticed , and genetics corroborate, Ashkenazim, Sephardim, Mizrahim, etc... are genetically more alike, have more in common w/ each other than they do w/ they non-Jewish, Gentile host populations.

    My personal experiences with Israeli born Indian Jews is that most of them have lost their Indian identity in terms of language and clothes. Very few Israeli born Indian Jews speak any languages from India, except perhaps a few sentences. Plus few of them would wear traditional Indian clothes even in their homes. I would say Israeli born Indian Jews are so assimilated in the cultural mixture of Israel, that the word India is totally alien to their consciousness. Don't forget many Israelis have brown skins and can be assumed to be of Middle eastern, Indian or even Latino, so the awareness of India amongst them and other populations are rare. For example a brown skinned person in the UK would be presumed to be South Asian for many people, but in America, it could mean they are Latino.

      Anton Chigurh

      Anton Chigurh
      הרוסים בעלי הברית האדוקים והגדולים ביותר של האויבים של המדינה,
      זה טבעי לגמרי שישראלים ישנאו אותה, במיוחד לאור העבר האנטישמי המפואר שלה, שאני זין אם היא בכלל נעלמה אפילו קצת.
      מהקמתה של רוס של קייב הרוסים היו העם האנטישמי ביותר עם הכי הרבה פרעות ופוגרומים נגד יהודים, נם אחראיים להפצת האנטישמיות המודרנית, לדוגמא הפרוטוקלים של זקני ציון. עם מושחת של מאפיונרים ונערות ליווי שאוהב למצוץ לדיקטטורים. בכל מקרה זה עוד מדינה שהאיסלם בדרך לכבוש, 17% מוסלמים שמתרבים בקצב הרבה יותר מהיר מהרוסים שעושים טובה אם בכלל מביאים עוד ילד לעולם ועוד הגירה לא קטנה של מוסלמים ממרכז אסיה.

      Brown skin Latin Americans are apart of NINE AND A HALF TRIBES OF YSHRAL, THE NORTHERN KINGDOM OF YASHRAL. 2ND BOOK OF ESDRAS CHAPTER 13 EXPLAINS HERE: 36 And Sion shall come, and shall be shewed to all men, being prepared and builded, like as thou sawest the hill graven without hands.
      37 And this my Son shall rebuke the wicked inventions of those nations, which for their wicked life are fallen into the tempest;
      38 And shall lay before them their evil thoughts, and the torments wherewith they shall begin to be tormented, which are like unto a flame: and he shall destroy them without labour by the law which is like unto me.
      39 And whereas thou sawest that he gathered another peaceable multitude unto him;
      40 Those are the ten tribes, which were carried away prisoners out of their own land in the time of Osea the king, whom Salmanasar the king of Assyria led away captive, and he carried them over the waters, and so came they into another land.
      41 But they took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt,
      42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land.
      43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river.
      44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over.
      45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth.
      46 Then dwelt they there until the latter time; and now when they shall begin to come,

    Y'know, the racial diversity is really quite amazing. I can't believe Israel is so open as a society in such a short time among various Jewish cultures. It really makes me think; not simply about Islamic culture's rather glaring failures, but the US and Europe too. It's been more than 200 years and yet the US still isn't racially diverse and Europe doesn't treat Black men nearly as well as is assumed by most. It's just surprising. If you place emphasis on religion as a factor... does that mean Christianity and Islam are failures compared to Jewish culture?
