Thanks for all your videos. Im currently building a 2001 mci D4500 in Massachusetts. It is a tribute my cat who saved me from suicide. All of your videos have inspired my build. Thanks for sharing.
I am very glad to hear that. I hope I can help in some way. I love to hear about people starting on their buses especially when they are like mine. Thanks for letting me know!
Looks good. I was thinking of doing something similar with my Prevost. The whole engine slides out the back so I would like to see how someone did one first. Any welding on the frame involves unplugging a whole bunch of electronics and the batteries. The bin is high enough for a small motorcycle so that is another option. The Goldwing definitely wont fit.
You are correct on needing to unplug everything before doing any welding. I bolted all this on with no welding. That way, I can remove it if I ever need to pull the engine out the back. Thanks for watching!
Looked like it fit like a glove Glenn. I bought a 1998 MCI 102D3 This summer, I will start on the build next year and was woundering what would work best for a hitch. Thanks for the video.
Perfect timing huh? Have fun on your build. I think the '98 is probably one of the best buses to convert because it has conventional wiring harnesses rather than the multi-plex system like I have. I grit my teeth every time I start it thinking it is going to have some kind of a weird issue!
