Composed by Hiroki Kikuta. Recreated by me. This is part of a commission from Xouman on Patreon to restore part of the Trials of Mana soundtrack. This was made possible by ripping the music from the ROM in MIDI format using VGMTrans and rebuilding the soundtrack from the ground up using a digital version of the original sound hardware that was used to compose the game, applying some modern mixing techniques along the way to lift the veil of 16bit compression and create an updated listening experience. Oh my god, I am _all for_ the rest of the Trials being restored. This game's soundtrack is still so good, I'd love to be able to hear the originals without any compression ^_^

It is an absurd that this game was not released in the west after the success of Secret of Mana.
The soundtrack is really great, my favorite rendition of the Mana theme.

Collection of Mana has the first three games in english, and that includes Trials of Mana. It came out on the Switch.

I think the big problem was simply not enough memory space for a translation, Secret of Mana already suffered hugely from cut dialogue

It really is a shame that we had to wait over 20 for an official translation. This is easily the best-looking, best-sounding, and incredibly well-written JRPG on the SNES.
