World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen tops the field for the Airthings Masters, the 2nd stage of the Champions Chess Tour. The 12-player event will be played online on chess24 from December 26th to January 3rd and, as the first Major of the tour, features a $200,000 prize fund with $60,000 for 1st place. The winner also qualifies directly to the Grand Final in September 2021.

I don't know if Dubov will ever be crowned world chess champion, but the beauty, creativity and his talent are miles ahead of Carlsen. Carlsen is like a boring, programed chess engine compare to Dubov. Yes, he can memorize more than the others, but Dubov is something special. @@davidanderson_surrey_bc i don't think so...alot of people, including me, are pretty impressed with Dubov's playing style. It's definitely creative and different from the normal. Agad is just putting it front and center for everyone to enjoy.

I missed the game but these comms are better. Not going to lie, I've put a bet on Dubov to win at 4.2 and him to draw or win the last 2 games due to Magnus' timezone tiredness and Dubovs knowledge of Magnus openings and middle game skill. Editied for bad grammar still calling it.
