My parents have cds of live shows and when you compare live performances now vs then, it looks like a dystopian film. You couldn't see the artist because everyone have their phones on record. It just doesn't feel the same.
fuck yeah, America was a melting pot, race wasn't the defining virtue character was, you could debate any and everything and it was called free speech, and music was in your face hardcore..coming of age in the 90's, I wouldn't change it for the world
@@Kindred788 exactly man. I grew up in the 90’s and everyone was cool with each other, no racial shit or nothing. People had differing opinions but I never got the vibe that people were ready to tear each other’s guts out like they are ready to do now. Sad, wish we could go back to those days.
OMG!!!! What a incredible Flashback 💜💜💜🤘🤘💖💖🎆 I watched that!! I've been lucky enough to watch these Kickass Guyz for...25 years 💜🤘🤘🤘🤘👊👩🎤🌽🎉🎤💣💥 Amazing !!!
I was young and full of energy got to go Charlotte NC and hit the pit with korn loved it ha alot of crazy stuff that weekend.....KoRn and Tool snoop dogg were great
I was supposed to go to that show in July in Tinley park. Korn was the only reason why I went. It was the only opportunity to see a set list from the first two albums.
Darien Lake Buffalo New York July 5th 1997 staying in the campgrounds waking up hungover is all hell dragging ourselves into the venue to begin the festival what a great time seeing tool for the first time the eels novocaine for the soul Korn just graduating high school that June some of the best times of my life
I remember that. I was so pumped and right when they were coming to our city next they canceled I was so pissed cause that would of been my first time seeing them play I was 15 back then. But over the years now I've see them and meet them.
I was at that show on Randall's Island, Blind got heavy and the dust kicked up. I was literally spitting out dirt, looking for water by the end and they were charging $6 or something. Korn, as sick as that show was, Tool was better. It was night, the mood was right and everyone was high. Good times.
Wow. At was at that show in West Palm Beach FL. And I remember the Korn show basically a fucking riot. I was worried for my safety for a moment. But I was there to see Tool for the second time that year. Because you know, fucking Aenima is one of the best albums ever.
I did bought my tickets a week before the announcement of korn drop the tour, I'm glad that tool save that show, there where people waiting for korn on stage, the made the announce a day before.
damn they should do more concerts like that like cross overs with rappers and rockers awesome blend and KORN fits in soooo PERFECTLY to that kinda crowd cuz they have a hip hopish sound and look especially Jon in his adidas jump suit and fieldy
My friends and I booked Tickets to the 97 lallapalooza tour, mainly to go see Korn but when we got there that’s when we found out that Munky got meningitis so they were off the tour. It was a major bummer! It was cool tho to see tool and the prodigy though. The best acts in the tour!
I was there, and remember the chairs being ripped up and passed along during Korn. I also remember what looked to be a skinhead getting beaten with a metal chair in the pit on the lawn. Fucking amazing. Snoop sucked.
haha I can see me, I'm left front row fist in air yelling korn...most violent pit I ever been in, usually punches get you attacked but this was a free for all and you didn't see it coming..fire department came out and watered down the field to end dustbowl after Korn before Tool..wasted youth and i'm proud of every second and was coked up out of my mind, and back then cocaine was cocaine not adulterated with "research chemicals" ah the good ole days..thank you Korn not the best band I seen live but up there, and that show and dustbowl where more than unique most intense show I ever ever been part of bar none. I actually taped MTV news showed my friends, back then it was cool to get on TV even if just in the crowd..man I'm old those days MTV was youtube and a video mean VHS tape lol
that is cool they tried to walk out into the concert area, it probably gets boring being backstage all the time and want go out and walk around but can't because they get mobbed
OMG... you finally found this clip of my boys and I in WPB!!! FINALLY SOMEONE POSTED IT LOL.... at 2:58 behind the blue chair is myself and all my boys from Jax....kickin those chairs out... to make a mosh pit cause it was all seats...... and it was the 1st Korn show ever in Florida....BADD ASS!!! NEW KORN SUX AND YA'LL KNOW IT!!!!
This was the best iteratiin of Korn. They turned into a money making parody of themselves by 1999. Now head is some weirdo who puts mascara on everyday.. I miss when they were just normal dudes like right here. 🙁
I saw this show at Darien Lake the day after Fourth of July. Korn and Tool were really all I wanted to see - all of those techno acts were terrible. The Eels were pretty good on the small stage. If you look in the background of Korn at 4:43 and see the bikes, that's how they made their entrance - riding those bikes onto the stage.
As cool as this is, with all the other musicians, this vids was wrongly titled. It didn't just feature Korn. I could see if someone had edited this vid, keeping only the Korn clips, and getting rid of the rest. This should have simply been called something like: "Lollapalooza 1997" Other than that, kickass vid though.
these dudes worked Ohio hard back in the day before any radio would play them . Yes Blitz , no ya wouldn't , I still love ya dont get me wrong , kinda like redheaded stepchild love but its love and I got a redhead fetish. But yea they would hang out for hours after a gig putting there name out ! I only heard blind ! I bought my 1st korn ticket ! one song that was it, its even more dangerous in small club , theres more stuff to throw, are you ready ??????????? To be honest I really wasn't JON !!!! just saying
I miss the 90's and I wasn't even around in the 90's
same.
Lmfao sorry kiddo

Seen this show when it passed through Toronto in 97, been a huge Korn and Tool fan ever since. Sickest show ever, nothing comes close.
1997 - The only time you'd hear snoop dogg and KoRn in the same sentence.
Sam Warren what happened to twisted transitor?
Sam Warren you not a real fan man. They literally made a music video together
Dark Energon that Music video is sh*t
3:07 The best of his life. Even the worst doesn't turn down his happiness.
i was right there to the right when the chairs started getting ripped up. one of the best shows ever.

lol, i was alive, this was the first time i heard korn
I didnt even exist during that time
1997? I was 9. Didn't know about Korn until I was 13.
I was 10 around this time and never heard of them until a year later when they first came out with "Got the Life"

I was at that show. Korn and Tool were really the only bands I liked on the bill but they alone were worth the price of admission.
