- New Venue for me wasn't really sure what to expect.... on line didn't give much if anything away for an end of January short ssession......
The rest of the year from March onwards Milford is a cracking spot for rays.....I.e Small Eyed Ray's and Blackbream and Gilts and then the usual summer species
Wasn't expecting the tide run that I encountered but dropping in close say 30-40yrds max certainly made it more fishable.....
Simple Rigs is in order From Flappers,loops and up and orders will work perfectly
I can only imagine when that weed turns up it can almost be unfishable I had a horrible type of weed to contend with last night it certainly played havoc wits the leader knot but was ok as in fishing but I reckon that was down to the blow we had had for the last few days....
2nd cast a double shot of dogs then the odd whiting and bas to show for my efforts
I will certainly be back when the season changes for another session or may go sooner on a different tide.....Very enjoyable evening 😊

I love fishing there but the tide absolutely rips ,used togo with my sons and pull out some nice bass when that tide ran,good effort chap

Have to say did enjoy it certainly made a change but I think a few more exploration trips is needed
Yeah learnt the lesson about the tide but it was a big tide to be fair.......

@Fishingdorsetlive coool will look at that I know hordle isn't to bad for tide run........
It does piss through there on the bigger tides you can get shingle bury your leads, you can get the odd big Cod of that beach tight knickers dobbers

@@DobbosFishingAdventures not as good as it was a few weeks bk b 4 these storms. Am back out early for another crack in morning on the humber to see what's about.
@carldawson832 storms can produce afterwards some times not but once again Jan and Feb can be tough months fingers crossed you catch......good luck Carl 😀

Sounds good for brighton dobbo be my first trip that way ... we hitting the beach as the wall looks tight for casting? Don't mind booking a day of in the week to get prime spot 😂
