I love that you don't use a filter. That just gives people with texture/discoloration on their skin (99.9% of humans) false hope about products people use online.
Same in South Africa. Most of what they mention isn't here - not even ELF or Milani and we get a very limited part of the other brands releases. For high end we have MAC, Clinique, Clarins and Smashbox and that's it.
I never knew why you used a beauty sponge after applying any makeup until I finally tried it..BEST tip I ever saw..my makeup looked good before and now it looks flawless..just melts into skin and has made anything I put on my face look sooo much better.Thank you Allie !!!

Yes, love the highlighter. I think when you went over it with the sponge it softened the "glitter" aspect. I'm sure you have highlighters that are more bold that you use at night. I do, so this would be perfect for evening wear when you need more of a pop

I haven’t heard the best things about the Opal shade but all the other shades are gorgeous 💕 I have Pearl and there is no glitter in it. I’m in love with it.
If you do another favorite combination video…my current go-to is It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better+ Nars Soft Matte. I use a 70/30 mixture just to bump up the coverage of the It Cosmetics bur I’m sure in the winter I will use 50/50. Love your videos! And in case no one has told you today you’re beautiful 🤩
Allie, I'd love a BARE FACE review. I don't use foundation or power anymore. But, I would LOVE some cream blushes. Also, bronzer and highlighter. I feel you about the highlighter. I'm not a highlighter person and while I am heavily into glitter on my eyes, I didn't want glitter on my cheekbones. I got Opal because I'm so pale and I feel bad returning it but I'm also a bit upset about the closeup glitter (though yes, from afar it absolutely does look nice!) UPDATE: just rewatched Jen Luvs' review and it made me realize: the visible glitter needs to be blended away and it gives a wet look effect. I think some of the chunk we see is pearled up reflective powder, like in my Inglot loose powder metallic forest green I've spent so much time finding
From what I understand, the shade pearl doesn’t have glitter. I had held off on this launch so far... seeing you apply them is tempting me sooo much lol. Love you... thanks for the demo💜
I thought the highlighter was really glittery as well. Then I used a slightly bigger fluffier brush and it was absolutely beautiful! Much better with a softer less dense brush!

I think you might find other products in the highlight department that doesn't impart glitter. I'm with you in that I don't like glitter on the face. To reassess the situation, you get rated an A+!

I think with the highlighter it might be the same case as with another highlighter you used where the toplayer was more glittery but as soon as that was removed the product agreed with you more. Also with the stickcountoure a tapping motion to blend out is advised with this specific product ( I think ) but maybe your own technique will do the trick as well. Love the look, love the effect of these products, enjoy !

Love these products. Fair skinned like you and this is such a subtle color/warmth for every day. I think this might be my “holy grail” bronzer.
Other reviews have noted that Opal has glitter but the other shades are much smoother. 🙂
