Is that a Black Beauty snare? And is the kick a 24x16? I'm looking at getting a Ludwig Classic Maple kit - having some trouble deciding on kick size and depth...
Yep, it’s a 6.5x14 black beauty cranked up a bit. Legendary drum for good reason! And the kick is 16x24 classic maple - good guess! I’m currently using a 14x24 legacy maple on the road and really enjoying that size as well. I think either size is a good choice though!
@@MarkPoiesz Thank you! They sound great. I have a dw collectors series kit, but thinking of getting a Ludwig CM. I have a '78 Supra that I love. I'm sure the Black Beauty is a great snare!
