How old is little man? My son is ten just took him for his first game at NR Paintball and he loved it. Had so much fun introducing him to the sport I played so much twenty years ago.
I think I saw your post in the DMV or NR FB group. Little guy is 11. Haven't seen him come to Pevs in a long time now bc he's not close to the field. That's great you're introducing your son to paintball, you both are more than welcome to come to Pevs and play some recball or speedball. We have new players there on a regular basis.
We had a good turnout on Sunday yesterday, probably around 15-20 people showed up. Was definitely a good day for a weekend after an event/tournament at NR.
I recommend renting your gear for the first time to make sure you like paintball first. The first purchase I recommend is a good mask for around $70-$100. You’ll then need a marker set up which includes your hopper, air tank, and marker. That’s all you really need to get started. I personally recommend buying some sort of knee pads, they will help a lot.
You know it’s a good thing when mvpb posts you also give such good advice to younger players.
The Outcasts are also getting him fitted in some fresh gear this weekend and he’ll be playing in his first tournament next week! D5 3man
