It's kind of fucked up that this is the first thing you encounter when watching Felidae. This song has a relaxing, nostalgic sounding, "everything's gonna be alright" vibe to it, and then the rest of the movie follows which is NOT OKAY AT ALL. That being said, despite the disturbing nature of the film, it's actually pretty good. The only reason I found it so incredibly weird was because it was about animated, feral cats. If this were about humans, and perhaps live action, it probably wouldn't have turned too many heads.
That's why I love it so much. It's such a warm intro and after watching the film I rewatched the intro and it made the whole thing feel super bittersweet
The vibes of the theme song with the title showed up blood 🩸 and a cat screaming 🙀 is usually a bad omen giving signs of warning ⚠️. But with all that I loved the song.
Very good movie, a lot of gore and extremely dark for a cartoon but it wasn't made for kids per see. I enjoyed the movie a lot and I recommend it dearly to people who likes mysteries, just be prepared for one of the goriest cartoons you have seen.

I wish movies like Felidae, Plague Dogs, Watership Down, Animals of Farthing Woods, movies about animals trying to survive in a real world environment while looking for a safe to live.
I like what Francis had said at the end of the movie how one day Humans and Animals will live harmoniously one day. I really needed to hear that because I had almost lost my faith in humanity because of all the useless killing and stuff. The line "if life has to change, why must it be mine?" Is clandandus questioning the circumstances of all he has been through, if men are not pure and innocent why do I have to suffer? This falls in place with his last words to Francis. " you see me now and you see evil, but I was once good. "
I remember watching the movie that was uploaded to YT (the 2007 ones that are still up) and having a whole phase of watching dark animated movies when I was younger. This song captures the mood perfectly, I wish I could see them like new all over again

seriously loved this movie more than I thought I would. I remembered checking this out just because people were talking about it and thinking it would be nothing but empty shock value but ended up really getting sucked into it. This song is so mellow I love it.
I've had memories of this film for years from when my parents showed it to me when I was really little. I just found it again! I thought I might have dreamt it! I can't remember much, just that it was really scary.

seriously loved this movie more than I thought I would. I remembered checking this out just because people were talking about it and thinking it would be nothing but empty shock value but ended up really getting sucked into it. This song is so mellow I love it.

This song opened my eyes for Boy George's wonderfull music. I'm very thankfull for having both watched an amazing movie and learned to appriciate the great music of Boy George.
@Wolfswind003 I think animals and people are equal, besides we are animals too. I never said animals are an unworthy race, humans kill each other daily, most of the time for selfish reasons. I just hope we can learn to stop all this greed and envy and live in peace.
It’s kind of fucked up to see that UA-cam has classified the movie as “For Kids.”
It reminded me of "The Secret of Nimh" with all the science lab experiments, only more graphic...also that segment of "Garfield: His 9 Lives" where he's depicted as a lab animal, in an animation style very similar to Felidae.

I'm not really any part of this conversation but, who are you to tell anyone how to live there life? If the want to build a fursuit. If they want to dress up however, what is it to you? I'm not a furry, but I have some good friends that are, and they certinly don't pretend they're animals or live in a fantasy they are. And if they did I sure as hell wouldn't care because they're good people, and that's what matters. You shouldn't judge people so foully on a simple interest or hobby.
