- Seán Keane played to a full house in the National Concert Hall with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra on August 10th 2018. Here the lads play a set of tunes, beginning with a beautiful solo introduction of the Ashokan Farewell by David Doocey on Fiddle and joined by Pat Coyne, Fergus Feely and Stephen Doherty. Seán rushes off stage and through a maze of corridors to get his uilleann pipes only to return with a bang after an exciting build up.
this guy is not just a great singer- he is an instrumental talent
The pipes. The pipes are calling.....all lovely.... he is so talented.... people love him. Sadly his first wife/ manager died young but he keeps going with a new wife and his family. If u get a chance go to one of his concerts big venue or small venue. Just GO
