I don't care how your videos are edited. Just keep them coming! Love your raw videos and the main channel. It's a good day when there is a boostmaster upload 🤟
Great Vid Jordan. No music and less voice over is good. I personally find music distracting. I like to hear the noises the bike and the tyres make. Gives one an idea of when you are pumping the bike and how much tyre grip you have etc.
Raw quick turnaround video!! I have been having the same Delma in my video, high production value but slow turn around or more raw but quick turnaround! I have been trying the more raw videos like this style and seems to be working well work flow wise but I also quality of out put too! Sick videos man I love you content!
@ 11:03 I can relate heavily to this! When you're a "One Man Does it All", it contributes to a faster burnout on content creating wise, regardless if you upload consistently, 2-3 times/week, or once a week. The whole finding the right music is one of the biggest headaches to do as well (especially finding songs that aren't copyrighted/ subscription based) and justifying whether to use it in some parts of a video or just make a video where no music is needed. But when you're one out of few to none who produces, edits and uploads, it's too much to teach.
Great video, as an expert freerider, i don’t need fancy editing. the only thing that would add a little something is a handfull of 3rd person view, like the 3 bigger jumps maybe, more work for you of course, but it’s great for us to understand the size of the jumps.
I think that talking to the camera is probably better than voice overs. Seth from Berm Peak switched from voice over to just talking in the video and it works perfectly fine, and cuts down on the editing workload.
I always love the videos of you leraning jumps or a jumpline. But in gerneral just keep the videos coming, I don´t care to much for the music, as long as you don´t stop adding the fistbump sounds.
more riding = more fun. less editing = less stress. sounds like u have the recipie! but i do love your style of videoedits, so maybe do it when the clips are really good, and you feel like its worth it. ride more, stress less !
JB, Happy New Year, brother! It's been an awesome 2023, appreciate all you have shared. Looking forward to what's in store for 2024! Shred on, Sir, Shred on!
every time I'm feeling down I always just watch one of these videos and it has to be the best feeling. tysm for doing this content and i hope i could meet you one day!
I really enjoyed this style of video. Music can be hit and miss and I like the commentary in the moment. Oh yeah, and insane riding, those jumps are HUGE!
I was thinking of making a channel and share my bumbling videos. I’m not sure what I want to do for video formats. Mainly edited raw videos with me speaking while riding? Adding text for additional thoughts or context? Voice over? Music? It’s a lot to consider.
To be honest the videos with extra voice over and music and whatnot are awesome, but the raw videos are also really good. Doesn't matter how you edit much to me personally.
A comment on music: as a viewer I don't need it, especially if it's causing you stress and deliberation in the editing dungeon. I could barely make out the music in this video, and it had zero impact on me staying tuned in. Your laid back, honest personality and solid riding are the reasons why my family watches you. To that, live commentary is the best audio we could ask for. It expresses what you're going through and how you genuinely feel in the moment. In addition to sick mtb skills, your frankness and humility is what makes your presence on UA-cam so original. Stay motivated! Less is more!!
Edit your stuff however feels good. I just love what you make. I really enjoyed this style of video without voiceover and minimal music. Thanks for sharing. And you hit that fence-ramp at the end there. Sick!
Just my opinion but if you want to make ur tables even more steezy than they already are then maybe try to do a tabley whip if you know what I mean. Happy new year and keep up the great vids and tricks are 👌
You know daylight savings really has nothing to do with when the sun goes down, the sun goes down earlier, and the days are shorter due to the tilt of the earth and the location of the sun. Then we will put Numbers corresponding to the “time“ of day it is. Then we will change it twice a year to really confuse people. The fact is is when it’s light out it’s daytime and when it’s dark out it’s night time but early mornings are pretty dark and later daytimes are pretty dark you’re just in the later daytime. During winter.
I've always loved your Kamloops videos! They really do hit the spot! Also I'm just curious to see if you are thinking about heading back to coast gravity? Would be sick
To answer your question about what time of content to post where. Personally, I don't care about either video style more than the other. I do like simplicity of raw videos for sure but that being said, the ones that have been here longer than a few years would probably agree with me. Dude, make what you enjoy. We're gonna be here to watch them. I know I'm not going anywhere. You're amazing dude. Keep up the hard work and I can't wait to see what 2024 has!
Man i tore my acl back in april and you are making me want to go riding you are soo amazing jordan and i love the content cant wait to get back riding at the ranchh 🎉
Voice over in real time is good, even if it’s just quick comments about your speeds, over or under shoots, or a comment on line choice. Just something to not be exclusively bike sounds and breathing.
jordan try increase the rebound in your front forks a little bit. i noticed throughout the video that it sounds quite slow and then u mentioned landing back heavy. I had the same issue with my lyriks and two clicks made the bike and ride especially on jumps so much nicer!
Happy New year dude. ive been watching for years and in that time ive had to quit riding (had 2 kids) i enjoy watching your videos i really dig your raw videos but dont be so hard on yourself i wanna see you having fun riding more. i recall lone riding sometimes was exquisite but dont be so serious to yourself. Stop complaining so much about your style etc. for me style comes naturally it shouldnt be worked on. Have fun riding and let it hang out (thats where the style comes). You are an awesome rider just need to let that style flow dont force it.
11:45 LOL, I had to take the fork off my Orbea Rise to un-ziptie the signal wire that goes to the display and pull more of it out of the frame so I could X-up.
A bit of Music good for setting the mood but sound of the tyres is good to hear, like your other comments just keep your vids coming, gets me inspired for getting out on my bike 👍😎
I do prefer the main channel videos to the raw videos because of the talking, but it doesn’t matter to me if it’s voice over or on on camera talking. I think either is great 👍
Jordan just looking for advice here. My biggest issue with mtb is get staying comfortable in the air and I just want to see do you have any advice on how to safely do jumps with any sort of airtime and not panic mid air.
Any advice for this big gap booters? Sent one a month ago and completely came up short and had a nasty wreck, been in my head about it since, any tips?

thanks!
Agreed
Just the sound of tires going into jumps and landing is enough music to my ears.
Relatable😂
Happy new year jordan. Love the vids
Happy new year!

Jordan is forever the king of British Columbia at MTB YouTubing and riding ❤❤

Loved this vid! So satisfying watching you boost those jumps like crazy. Keep these up!
every time I'm feeling down I always just watch one of these videos and it has to be the best feeling. tysm for doing this content and i hope i could meet you one day!
No voice over necessary, this looks and sounds great! So much ease hitting those big features, respect 🫡!
I really enjoyed this style of video. Music can be hit and miss and I like the commentary in the moment. Oh yeah, and insane riding, those jumps are HUGE!
thank you!

Here’s to a great 2024 Jordan! Your videos are gonna keep me going through the winter until the season begins next year
Happy New Year buddy 🥳 Do whatever feels best for you 🤘🔥 We're still here 🙏

Even though I will probably never ride anything this big, this video is so relatable because it's exactly like my sessions on jumps that I can do.
Stoked to watch you ride these jumps. Don’t care about the fluff.
Cheers, mate! Focus on having fun, great videos come from your own joy! Chuffed to see some of your home trail build this year perhaps...
Dude, your stoke is contagious and that is why I love your videos so much!
Edit your stuff however feels good. I just love what you make. I really enjoyed this style of video without voiceover and minimal music. Thanks for sharing.
And you hit that fence-ramp at the end there. Sick!
I think this is the sweet spot….👌
These jumps are sick! Love the videos
I liked this format, especially including the attempts where you had to adjust and dial in the speed.
You should do a bike check video of all your different bikes and future plans for them
I agree

Great video, Jordan
Great video. Those are some serious jumps. Just watching you jump them is making me sweat 😂
Voice overs are nice, but just hearing you talk while you ride is 100% more fun!
Happy New Year's Jordan! Loving the videos!
Happy new year Jordan
Ive been wanting to get into enduro and jumping, but not sure what bike to get. Dont want to spend too much as im brand new but any recommendations?

I do prefer the main channel videos to the raw videos because of the talking, but it doesn’t matter to me if it’s voice over or on on camera talking. I think either is great 👍
Bro. I was watching this video for first time on my Meta Quest VR, and it hits way different that phone or tv. It felt like I was the rider 🤣
I like how you're more sendy when you're riding alone!😅
I think the bike is just a really good fit out here!
Jordan just looking for advice here. My biggest issue with mtb is get staying comfortable in the air and I just want to see do you have any advice on how to safely do jumps with any sort of airtime and not panic mid air.
I'd love a counter of how many times you said "right on" 😂
yeah I say it too much haha
The transitions are sick i ride a transition sentinel and it is great
i think you should do a discripshion on how to jumps while you are jumping i think that your fans can use it
your mic is good enough for skipping the voiceover
Love your vids!
feel free to edit your videos however you think is best for you.
Jordan, what are your suspension settings for an enduro bike? I mean SAG, compression, rebound?
Love the video
Any advice for this big gap booters? Sent one a month ago and completely came up short and had a nasty wreck, been in my head about it since, any tips?
