Totally agree. It would’ve taken less than a minute and not only would clean up have been easier, it’d have actually been effective too because now there’s still crap under that mat.
Technically he is there to sort out the drain not clean and rearrange their furniture. Plus if the owner was that fussed they could have rolled it back themselves 🤷
@@donnamenhenitt5957 look, I understand your point, but at what point does commonsense apply? They are the subject matter expert, the customer is not. They at a minimum should have told the customer that they need to move their furniture.
Nice job Andy and Joe, could imagine Jem saying, “gently does it with those roots Andy, slow and easy, and it will all come out in one piece” sure he would have been proud of you 👍😆
Great vlog, quote of the week from jetter 3 " I witnessed it with my own eyes " classic. Only one little criticism. Jetter 2 on the 1st job you could have rolled the rug up before you started would have been much cleaner. I suspect some liquid sewerage still lurking under the rug. PS. The Autumn Tint brick, manufactured by Northcot Brick Ltd, is an extruded brick that is buff in colour with a light texture. As a facing brick, the Autumn Tint brick is commonly chosen for its aesthetic qualities, and will provide a buff, light textured façade.
Why the Owner failed to move the rug is beyond me... I kept watching 💩 water creep to the edge & I'm like... **W.H.Y.??!!!*** The Owner could have spared this with à little bit of prevention...sigh
I saw this too about the brick, it's also mispelled in the engraving which I find very peculiar. Edit: A comment a bit further down gave reason for the lack of N.
Let's take a minute to thank the guys for always giving us the best view... I absolutely love watching your videos and I almost feel part of the team... Although some of them drains I'd have my guts up with the smells... Could I get a shout out next time please...I'm Sharon and I live in Cardiff South Wales
I discovered your page about a week or so ago and have probably watched a dozen hours of your content. Never thought I'd enjoy this kind of content but apparently I adore it lol
Awesome video today guys! That first one was a little tricky. That next one..a spider lives because of you Andy, (I'm terrified..I probably wouldn't have been that nice). Then "Roots" and then splashing poop, but Andy you didn't save that worm. A great way to end the weekend. A great job all around guys!! Cheers.👍👍👍👍
Hi from durham guys👋👍 great jobs today andy and joe 👌 for some reason watching roots get removed is always a bit fascinating as the kinda form the area the run in but great show lads 👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon guys👍👋
I have deep respect for workmen, doing a service for us, which we wouldn't do for any amount of money. I almost gagged seeing the footage and that is without the smell! Again my deepest repsect for garbage men, drain unblockers, pest control and undertakers. Never take these men for granted.
That was a female giant house spider by the way in that one drain and a very healthy looking one too, they can give a defensive nip but are reluctant biters and pretty much harmless and she just wanted to go back to her web that's why she kept running back into the drain 🙂🙂 love ya vids aswell, keep up the good work and enjoy any 🕷️🕷️🕷️ you happen to come across 🙂🙂🙂
My house is built with AUTUMN TINT bricks it's just the name and colour/style of the bricks, nothing special really and it's on the back of most of the bricks! Grate video lads, always a pleasure 🤣🤣🤣😉👍
That stamped brick reminded me of the story of staff at Ibstock Bricks who were made redundant from the Kingswinford factory in the Midlands in December 1999, who took revenge on their bosses. The workers' last act was to create a batch of 30,000 bricks with the word "bollocks" stamped on the side instead of the company's name. Factory bosses did not notice the word had been indented on the bricks until puzzled customers began to ring in. The consignment was worth £40,000. The bricks have now become prized items, reportedly changing hands for £5 each on the black market!
My first job after school was a foundry in Fareham 'Glynwed' (Hampshire). We made brickhouse dudley manhole covers. Those round ones as a 'coreboy' had a sand mould called 'o2o' . £1.42 an hour.
The spider says 👍 and would like to give you 🌺🌺 for saving him or her. Are you part dentist to you gave that construction sight one heck of a root canal. Good job as usual.
Autum tint is the colour of the brick but because in manhole don’t matter it’s facing out , it’s probably on every brick on the property but facing in , great unblocks Andy and joe , joe with his spotless trainers again on first unblock 😂jem don’t seem to be doing many videos lately what’s going on , and let’s see some more repairs warren and jem .
Well done again Jetter 2 and 3. Has Digger 1 already been kicked out of the intro? 🤨 He was finally there in the previous one, but gone missing now. Don't take it personal Warren, I am guessing Jetter 2 messed the editing up 🤣
O dear, that carpet in the beginning, why don’t people roll it up and shove the furniture aside before the plumbers arrive? Love watching these all in one day jobs in one video 👍
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t clear the work area of any uncontaminated items before drain unblockers arrive. Not the first time that’s crossed my mind during your always interesting and entertaining videos.
As soon as I saw the patio setup I thought 'Ohhh no, this'll get mucky.". As the client, I would make damn sure all my furniture, carpet etc, was off the ground and cleared for them.

I don’t understand why the owners don’t move their lovely furniture and rugs away from the interceptor. If that was my house I would be moving furniture. I don’t expect the guys that come to clean the drains to move everything, cars, garbage bins, garbage. If they had to do that that’s all they would spend their time doing. The owner hast to have some responsibility here. But that’s just me. Queen Victoria day here in Canada. Got lots of things to do but can’t seem to tear myself away. Holiday gift. Thanks🇨🇦🇬🇧👑

On the outdoor rug (& all the furniture on top of it) on the first job: moving the customer's stuff id not the drain cleaner's job, and there's also liability issues if anything were damaged or broken when the drain guys move it. Moral of the story: if you don't want sewage on *your* stuff, *you* need to move it well away from where the sewage is overflowing.
I love what you do , can’t understand why you didn’t move the mat out of the way before you started to stop poo going under it !
Suppose the customer could have moved it too.... but yeah, someone should have moved it.

Autum Tint is a colour of the brick by the company that made it. They left the N off cause it didnt all fit on the brick :)
That's what I assumed, thanks for clarifying 😊
@Keith it was probably generic standardized letter mold/stamp
The fact that you randomly know that is awesome. Lol. Well, to you it ain't just random knowledge, but I think you know what I mean.
Ah, that makes sense with the N!
Great work Andy and Joe! We really enjoyed the video! 🧤😀🔦👍💩

autumtint is a typoe of brick made by a company named NORTH COT. when it is fired it has a Autum tint (orange in color).
Autumn tint. Looks like someone used a brick that was probably on the show floor for different color bricks. Just a guess.
