I found a 1970 11 stop Reuter in Wichita that I am moving to the Rio grande in nm. I added a 32' bourdon octave. Love Reuter !! I have the only 32' octave in nm is in my living room!!! Reuter will be missed!!!
As a former employee I must say Reuter is such a great place to work ! If I didn’t move away I’d still be there , if you love pipe organs everyone there is sooo kind and will teach you all that you need to know
@@HobbyOrganist yeah a bunch of truly great deals on all of the stuff, and some thing fetched a pretty high price , like the little old coning machine I spent many an hour using sold for almost 5k!
Awesome tour of the factory. Great to see such pride taken in a job well done. The employees have such unique personalities though... like the seven dwarfs. Expecially the voicer. Lol
My church has a wonderful 3/35 Reuter built in 1934-35. Original was 3/24. 11 ranks were added in 1984. All 4 divisions under expression and it’s a wonderful and versatile instrument. You can hear it on my channel in several videos

As you probably know by now, Reuter sold off their equipment and machines at auction and sold the facility :(

We have a Reuters pipe organ at our church. I'm playing it Sunday. Ours is at least a 1960s model.
Wonderful! Voicing described but not demonstrated. Keeping the secrets in the family!

It might not be a Skinner, but Martin Ott organs are quality instruments.

A wonderful set of videos you have here! I enjoy all of your videos of organs and workshops. Keep up the great work!
Interesting that Reuter seems to re-home its organs where possible,.
¡What a nice voicer¡
I sure could use some of that ability to voice the pipes in an organ I built years ago. Voicing is tough.
👍........thanks
I wished that I could work for Allen Organ company, as I am an electronics assembly worker/soldering worker.
So contact their HR department.
Why would you want to work for them? I'd rather work for a firm like Reuter!
@@NorfolkSouthern-xt3xx Because it is an organ manufacture, and I am also an organist.
Oh god, a Matters system. The wiring department should protest.
What is a Matters system?
