New Pb River Don.

- Join me on an opportunist fishing trip to the river Don. I was working in Aberdeen and thought I would take the opportunity to use on of my angling club exchange tickets. What a good decision that was. The weather was fairly warm with a haze in the sky but it wasn't too bright. This was my first time fishing the Don and it certainly wont be the last.

Nice video mate and a new subscriber. It’s a lovely fish, if you are using a GoPro try using GoPro hindsight set to 30 seconds, helps capture those takes after the hook up

@Craigsoutdooradventures does it require the go pro to be on the whole time you're fishing? I have got enough batteries to have it on for a while but quite often I'm out for hours.
@@Hardlinesangling yeah it does but if you pop a power bank in or a GoPro Volta it will keep them charged without the need to swap batteries

Thank you. Was as fresh as a daisy had a nice purple sheen to it too not sure if the camera picked that up though.
I was on the don last week for the first time but had no joy.
Where do I get a permit for the water you were fishing?
If you contact Inverurie angling association the secretary is very helpful. I was on an exchange ticket as my club has a few exchange tickets and that beat is one of them. The Don is a lovely river to fish definitely feels like there should be quite a few salmon and sea trout lying in the pools.

I'm away to the torne river in north Sweden the send week of July so hopefully get something out there
