- Anton van Vuuren is a South African who moved to the US in 2016. He originally worked as an IT guy but after opening his own shop and restaurant that offered South African food products in 2019 - he left his white collar job.

We loves Anton’s! Thanks to them my kids have a solid connection to the unique treats I loved growing up in ZA. Pies, pap, wors, lamb curry, bunny chow, Mrs Balls and biltong. Amazing place with a huge heart for the community. Everyone’s welcome. And the food is amazing!

I salute people like you. Who dont flee and then feel ashamed of being a South African. Who tries to spread our dishes further. I hope you become bigger and that all goes well! I might not be in Texas,but i still love what you do. South Africa is a unique country with unique dishes. Such as biltong,vetkoek,and more South African products. Hopefully you dont sell loadshedding too🤣
