- I recently went thrift store shopping & yard selling looking for picture frames. wasn't concerned with what was in the frame at all. In today's video I am going to share with you how to take those frames & turn them into really cool wall decor pieces.

You did a beautiful job distressing the frame. The antique look of the frame paired perfectly with the embellishment.

Hi. Love your channel. I want to make a few of these. I don't have chalk paint on hand, only acrylic paint. I have wooden frames that I'm repurposing, do I need to sand down the frames before I paint them?

I am so sorry I have not answered you. For some reason I didn't get the notification on your comment when you made it. :( To answer your question, I use brushes I have had for a long time. I believe I have gotten them from Hobby Lobby. They are not very expensive brushes. I also use sponge brushes. I get those in a pack of about 10 at Walmart. Hope that helps :)

LOL! Sure, it might take a while. It has taken me a sweet minute to get where I am & I'm still not done. We are going to be redoing our kitchen this year & I'm gonna take you guys along for the ride. Don't know if I'm ready for all that!! LOL! 😂👍
