    Wow! "When you're married, you create your own story... Your relationship is up to you." So powerful!

    I'm so glad i'm not the only one who believes the husband comes before the kids and God before the Husband. The kids will leave and it's going to be just you and the spouse.

      I agree on this as well ...but I wonder what should you do in a situation like this when the spouse thinks the kids come first?

      @@divinechosenlife If I remember correctly my pastor said if the man says it's ok then go ahead. He is the "head" after all. They're are some things I have to remember to do for my husband first. I'm learning as well. 😊

      I was thinking if it's the man that feels like the kids come first

    God has been talking to me about marriage all day. I met a guy, but I'm waiting for a yes or no from God.

      Ashley did a great job of speaking upon the importance of working together. A marriage is a union, a bond. Unfortunately men do not perceive marriage as women do. Men see marriage as having a woman in the house to take care of them and the house. Women see marriage as having a protector, lover, investor. It's not the same reality and this is why many marriages fail.

    A single male friend of mine and I were discussing gender/marital roles. He believes that his wife should pay 50% of the household bills and take care of 75% of the duties at home including children related duties. I don't think this is fair. What are your thoughts?

    • @debrajames6316
      @debrajames6316 5 років тому +2

      Let's be clear marriage will never be 50/50 . Now in regards to the bills a woman should pay the smaller bills. The man is to be respected, so he should pay the rent. If he is a Father, he should be able to change Pampers and boil water, lol. When the mother is sick, the father should not be afraid, he should be able to step up and get the job done.

    • @SermonsSubtitled
      @SermonsSubtitled 5 років тому +8

      Don't let this "man" fool you, it's quite obvious that this is an unfair deal. He just choses to act stupid and not see the obvious cuz he's selfish (and hence immature). Just ask him if he'd be willing to start a business with a business partner that expects him to carry 50% of the investment and operational costs but wants him to work on their business for free 75% of the time meanwhile his partner would only work for free 25% of the time. Let's see how quick that will make him smartening up where he'll "suddenly" see the unfairness! lol
