I had cause to hire a van in 2017, to move a mattress and the van i was given from my local Arnold Clark was a 17-reg Peugeot Expert.
This current style had only really been out a year, but it was quite obvious that Peugeot had learned from VW and their Transporter.
The young man presenting here is absolutely right it is a lovely vehicle to drive and really does feel like you're driving a larger car.
Peugeot deserve a lot of credit for the work and research they have done to create this van.
They appear more popular than the Vauxhall Vivaro.
Both Royal Mail and Police Scotland have bought hundreds of the Expert.

There is no doubt that Peugeot Engines are excellent but the van leaves a lot to be desired
The drivers seat will NOT go back far enough foe many of us guys. The passenger seats are like sitting on an upright park bench..Manufacturers are MORE interested in advertising their Cubic cargo space than giving a little more room in the cab. the guys who designed these vans need to get out and drive them for 10 hours a day pr try sitting in the passenger all day.No wonder drivers are going off sick with bad backs and knee joint problems with that gear stick housing digging in our knees.What he hasnt mentioned is the Built in fault with the passenger airbag and how it puts the van in to Limp mode.
There is no difference between the 2016 version and the 2023 version. Same car!
Sounds good! Might be able to afford one then! 😅 I’ve got a 2009 and it’s been very reliable for me… apart from the windows having a mind of there own sometimes. Wasn’t sure whether to go for a Vito or transit custom when I next buy a van… but these seem like a good solid choice?
@@ElwooddudesAvoid the Ford - they run the dreaded wet timing belt that is a nightmare. Big dollars to change and they fail early or worse disintegrate and block the oil pump pickup and lunch the engine….
