- Can you change the 2 piece rear main seal on a chevelle without taking the motor out completely? Here I give tips and tricks on how to make your rear main seal replacement less time consuming and less of a headache. Vehicle used is a 1970 chevelle with a sbc v8 400. Same applies to the 350, and 454 big block. 1968-1972 Chevelles

Yes if the bore is good you can rebuild that whole engine without removing it ,crank replacement too

Great video, I just subscribed. I have a 65 chevy c10. 350 engine with mild cam and headers. I already tuned engine but when trying to adjust edelbrock carb the very best I can do is 14mm of mercury when doing vaccum on intake manifold. My gas mileage sucks. Any suggestions?

So you removed the flex plate, and bell housing? I know its a stupid question. But i have to do this to my 72, lemans. Has a chevy 383 in it, with a moroso pan. Wondering if i have the windage tray. Thanks for the widows you have they have been helping me alot!
