@@saelfaer That is why it is my it is one of mine. I have a hard time picking between it and Grace. I think Anneke van Giersbergen vocals are beautiful and goes very well with Devin's. :-)
Many people do Deadhead. For vocal coaches and just general metal fans, it is a good one to react to. Specifically for someone looking through the lens of a guitarist, however, I would strongly recommend “Deep Peace” over it. There’s a beautiful live version from the “By a Thread” concert. Highly recommended.
Love the concert version of this song. From the live in plovdiv show. All his songs so AMAZING and full sounding with the full orchestra and choir. It adds so much to the song. I definitely recommend checking this concert out if you haven't already.
As a guitarist you might be more interested in his "Willy wanka" video where he plays purely guitar for about 10 minutes and goes into bits from several of his songs. Some more complex than others, but what is impressive is the diversity of style that he can cover apparently effortlessly. Such an uplifting song !
@@Nathan-ur3fk I'd say as far as complexity is concerned, his "Deconstructed" album has the most complex riffs but it's also one of the more chaotic ones I'm not sure you'd like it. As far as good ol' solid riffs go, his Terria album has a lot of catchy ones that will stay on your mind like "Gaia", "Earth day", "Deep peace (this one even has a 2min solo!)". He's mentionned himself that he never liked "showing off" and prefers compositions that serve a purpose in the song, so you'll rarely see him pull off solos and speed shredding for the sake of it.
Next is the song 'Deadhead' @ Royal Albert Hall' Enjoy!
Will do. I tend to shout out people who recommended so watch out for that video!
Cannot recommend this one enough. Genuinely changed the way I listen to music.
One of my favorites of his. I also love"Grace" live. :-)
most definitely my favorite song of his. many others are great but this one always moves me

thanks for checking this out man, I bloody loved this track!
Don't react to Deadhead. React to 'Deep Peace' live for the lovely guitar solo! Either from By a Thread or from Plovdiv.
