GIRL. What a song. I went through a whole thing-and-a-half around a year back after my bf died, with some really fun addiction thrown in, and let me tell you - I don't know if I've ever found a song that so perfectly sums up the whole thing. Particularly that slightly-superior "look at me, I'm falling apart and they don't even know" vibe that this song hits so hard. Ugh. The vague, but never fully confronted suicidal ideation of "I can pretend that I don't want to end/I'm afraid.". Honestly. Who even are you. So good.
Its also wild to me that I've been watching your videos since, jesus, like 2011? And even into my early 20s now, you're still making content that just hits home so hard. Haze, On My Own, Interlude III, and Wishful Drinking could all bookend chapters in my life.

i just saw tessa live last night at a cavetown concert but i think she was the main attraction. i yelled “i love you tessa!!” and she freaking answered me and said i love you back!!! i was like the third person to yell it lol but it made my entire year!

I just found this song and Wow! in january 27th I'll be 5 years sober. I had a drinking problem and because it wasn't full on alchoholism I thought I could control it, but I never could. it was always me losing control of myself whenever I drank. I'm so happy I was able to quit it.
