If you haven't done so yet, I think the RG Gundam Epyon originally released last year is really good. I also built the MG Wing Zero EW Ver. Ka. late last month and I really like it a lot. All of the new features and engineering and the addition of two Neo Bird Mode transformations are really cool. I like it a lot more than the original MG Wing Zero EW that I built years ago.
That Epyon is so good
There's a certain feel to videos when the content creator is obviously doing or following their passion. Yours are no exception, will love to see more cosplay in future.

I remember back in the day, RG Destiny was one of those kits I wanted to get. It does look cool. But then I got one second hand and I realized the kit had a lot of issues common to the early RG kits at the time.

I'm glad to see your content again and the cosplay is amazing!!! And I agree it drives me crazy when kits are back heavy and can't stand on their own!!! And seed is a good series I like it personally and the kits are solid and have come out great so far, I have the master grade of Destiny but it comes with it's own display stand and effect parts for the wings in my backlog so that would help but it still drives me nuts... Another awesome video, Meli. Any action figure that can't stand on it's own is crazy in 2024. I like to display my Turtles with their weapons and in poses: if you're gonna keep in A-stance, keep it in box. I have a couple figs that have wonky ankles and hips, so I have to fiddle and fenagle to make it stand. Sad.

I'm an all Gundam SEED fan. It would be nice to add a titanium coated RG to my collection. Looking really beautiful.
You didn't care for the yellow on the shield but for me when you expanded it, the yellow and red contrast made both colors pop. There is nothing wrong for disliking a kit and I agree with it the balance issue. A good number of the action figures of the late 1980s to early 1990s were bad about it would it be front heavy or back heavy. Often times you had to spread the legs apart and position the arms just right for them to stand for any reasonable amount of time. If they did stand without too much movement is because the figure was really bulky\blocky.
I have the same issues with the regular kit. I basically pose it on a stand and left it alone. 😅
As someone who loves the Destiny Gundam, the most frustrating thing I found with this RG was the waist joint. I don't mind kits being backheavy because I usually have them do aerial poses on my shelf. The problem with this waist joint is that it starts to weaken over time to the point where the legs keep falling off. The HGCE Destiny, in my opinion, fixed just about everything that was wrong with the RG. It's not as heavy, the structure is more stable, and best of all... the HG comes with the Wings of Light effect parts!
With the announcement of the 2.0 RG, I just hope that the RG Destiny also gets that treatment because of how detailed it is. Right now, my favorite RG is the Force Impulse Gundam because of how fun it was to put together as well as how stable the kit is.
Great review on this kit, been seeing the kit around and it looks nice. Always hesitant because of price point, but now that I know its back heavy I'm more than certain on not purchasing it haha.
Cosplay is great, but for a second I thought you were cosplaying a Yu-Gi-Oh card. Underworld Goddess, of the Closed World is the name of the card. One of my favorites not just for the art which is badass, but also for just being an actual good card as far as game play. Check out the card art and I'm sure you'll see the resemblance. I put together the RG crossbone titanium version and yeah had issues with nubs on that aswell. Also the finish made it difficult to use gundam marker
I have the older 1/100 kit and thank gods it came with a stand otherwise it been in a closet.

Your costume looks awesome! I like real grade for the most part because they look more intricate than HG and even MG sometimes. The RG HiNu Gundam is especially great, hope you tried to build one. I saw that you made the RG Nu Gundam, which is also a great kit.

RG are cool, HATE the tiny parts for a 1/144. Wish I invested in more MGs early on, those are by far the most fun, but twice the expense and display area.
I keep looking at that Qubeley Damned MG in my closet, I'm afraid to start it.
"Why would you design a kit that can't stand on it's own"? To make money from stand sales. I LOVE models that come with their own stands I have a few, was like, Oh, sweet.
I skipped the RG for the HGCE revive. It's better and can stand on it's own. 😅

The RG technically looks better, but the proportions are so out of whack I kinda hate it right next to the HG. Pretty much everything is shortened and "cuter" for lack of a better term. Im fine with some RG changes, I hate the face on the RG nu, but can overlook that minor issue. Not the whole kit minus the backpack.
