I like the way stereotypes are always busted in the show. Even in the casting. The two are an athlete and a dancer. But in the opposite way you would think. And the Gymnast uses dance in her sport and Ballet dancing is the most athletic style of dance.

Its interesting how the tv show fans feel about the POSSIBLE relationship between the characters, when in fact they are supposed to be lovers..according to 30 years of source material. Its like making a tv show about the Fantastic Four and NOT making Reed and Sue married imo. Or making Peter Parker NOT be in love with Mary Jane. Why is it a "lets make them "besties" deal for the show..really? They stood out as characters in the comics because of their LOVE for each other...so I don't understand all this platonic mess. It feels like the showrunners..at the very least.... are about subverting expectations instead of showing how their LOVE supersedes the racial barriers...a thing that STILL resonates today. Mixed relationships have as many challenges now as they did back then, so I'm patiently waiting to see this side of their story. Other than being super powered their devotion and need for each other (physically through their powers and emotionally) was the mainstay of their comic. Of course there was more to them than their love for each other but that's what drove their story. Back in the 80's it was refreshing to see their love triumph over all their obstacles. But I'm just an old comic book nerd, who bought every issue as a kid and really doesn't buy into making things different for tv and film..not at the fundamental level anyway. These two actors have an onscreen and offscreen chemistry that I would say demands that the show follows the comics....at least where their love is concerned. I love the show tho..even with this little niggle. He's a good looking dude and she's absolutely gorgeous..it would warm my heart if they really embraced who Cloak and Dagger actually are to each other. I hope we don't have to go through a "will they wont they" situation for too much longer.

No one spends that much time together and don't develop feelings, like Robert and Kristen, leah Machel and that guy from glee, Cole spouse and that chick from river Dale and those two co star TV siblings that became friends and from parent good these two have the potential to date
Some people say their friends or actors or even acting like they never heard of friends with benefits before.Most relationships start out as friends anyway.
I love Olivia Holt shes beautiful and super talented also Aubrey and Olivia should totally date, they would make a cute couple, the have so much chemistry.
