    This works somehow but sharp edges+force is a dangerous combination and a disadvantage of the spoon method and even more with a knife.
    In my opinion the best trick is not to use a mechanical tool at all: just rub the top of the can on a hard flat surface for a while and it will open automatically!

    • @rookie.handyman
      @rookie.handyman  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes you are correct, you have to be careful with this method, it does get the job done but it is a little bit dangerous id you are not careful.

    Hi, I have broken a couple of can openers by opening #10 can! How do I open it without a can opener?

    • @rookie.handyman
      @rookie.handyman  Рік тому +1

      Hi there, I have never really dealt with such a big can, I suppose the lid is much thicker there because of the can size. You can try to use some handyman tools, something sharp like a shizzle and a hammer, just like I did with a knife in my video but you need something a little bit stronger than a knife. Hope you find something to open it with! 🙂
