- We have finally started to receive more and more information about Natlan, and reliable sources such as Gura and Plum Team have revealed some exciting new details about version 5.0 and its features. This is likely the fifth part of the Natlan updates, so if you haven't checked out the other videos, you can find them in my Natlan updates playlist.

A few weeks ago, I informed you all that the map size of Natlan would likely be larger than Sumeru, including the desert area. I also mentioned that Hoyoverse would introduce multiple new mechanics for exploration, which is to be expected as they always do that with every new region. But now we finally have some details about the map size, new mechanics, and character level increases, so let's get started.
According to the latest info by Gura, the version 5.0 update will introduce a map that is as big as Sumeru's entire map during the version 3.1 update. In case you don't remember, Sumeru went through a map expansion in version 3.1, introducing the Great Red Sea desert. This expansion wasn't small, and we are talking about the entire map here, not just the 3.1 expansion. So be ready to find over 400 pyroculus or something. Because if this is true, this would be one of the largest maps released in a single version update.
Moving on to the new mount mechanics and artifacts info. According to the latest information, Natlan will introduce new exploration mechanics where players might get a chance to mount dragons, as I had informed you guys in my previous Natlan videos. This would be a convenient method to traverse around the upcoming map, similar to Waveriders and Four-Leaf Sigils, which have received positive feedback from the community.
Hoyoverse will also add some new artifact strongboxes. According to recent information, Deepwood Memories, Guilded Dream, Desert Pavilion, Flower of Lost Paradise, and Vourukasha's Glow will be added in version 5.0.There are also rumors about new artifacts and mechanics that will increase the importance of Hydro and Cryo characters in the future meta.
Lastly, Gura leaks shared more crumbs about the Pyro Archon, one of the most mysterious characters we have in Genshin so far. According to the source, the Pyro Archon's character model will be taller than Furina. They also used Klee's hat as a reference point to explain the height difference between the Pyro Archon and Furina's model. Initially, it was rumored that the Pyro Archon would be of the same height as Furina, and some players were not happy with this info.
But now it seems like the Pyro Archon will be using a taller model instead. Furina is 166 centimeters tall, and let's assume that Klee's hat adds 2 to 3 centimeters to her height. So the Pyro Archon will be around 167 or 169 centimeters tall, which is the same as Raiden Shogun's height, correct me if I'm wrong. So for all the tall Pyro Archon enthusiasts out there, your hopes are still alive.
Moving on to the increase in characters' level rumors. According to info via Foul, Hoyoverse might increase the maximum level of characters from level 90 to 100. If this is true, then they'll likely increase the maximum levels of enemies as well to make things somewhat difficult for players, which I wouldn't mind, by the way. But they will also have to increase the resin cap; if not, then I don't see any point here.

I think people are forgetting that if character levels can be increased from 90 to 100, that means even the weapons can be upgraded from 90 to 100. The increased base attack, and substat will matter a lot.
They can increase characters' max level and keep weapons' max level the same. Why wouldn't that be possible ?

I mean, it'll be useful for people who don't spend a bunch of time on the game. I remember when people called the 160 Resin update useless back in Version 1.1 (the max Resin used to be 120). Nowadays day 1 players look back and realize how much of a bad take that was. Increasing the Resin pool *does* matter, because it allows people to not stress about Resin being capped as much (proven by the 160 Resin update).
Raising resin cap is useful for people who don't sit on their game 24/7 lmao. But the regen rate should 100% be lowered. The rate right now I'd abysmal

Yeah as far as Heights go, I was thinking that the Pyro Archon would be a tall female along the lines of Raiden and Yae Miko. Now the Cryo Archon, I wouldn't be surprised if she was Furina's height and body type.
I personally don't want to see an increase in levels because that just equals more grinding.
As for the strongbox ones, I only just remembered that was a thing today while I was crafting stuff because I wanted to see if Gilded Dreams was part of that option. They aren't yet, so if it does show up here, I'll be very happy lol.
I know Natlan is the Nation of Pyro and deserts are to be expected, but I hope for more variety too if it's as big as you mentioned. I'd love to see plains and caverns. And even arid nations need water to survive. One of the inspirations is Mesoamerica right? Landscape wise, take inspiration from there if possible.
Well considering that the Tsaritsa is speculated to be Bronya, I'm not gonna be surprised if she uses a teen female model. Or maybe a bit shorter adult female model.

@@lionelmarcussolaris2858 I'd be shocked if there wasn't a volcanic area. Some people are expecting a Pyro version of Dragonspine. As much as I would hate an area like that (I always dreaded going to Dragonspine lol), but it wouldn't surprise me.
The fact we're getting new Hydro and Cryo artifacts makes me think our dearest Columbina will be either of those elements.
168cm sounds about right for the tall female template, since that is the estimated height for characters like Jean and Beidou. Plus, since Hoyo loves recycling Honkai Impact 3rd character designs, it will be interesting to see who they will base the Pyro Archon on (whispers long ago suggested Himeko Murata, but with Himeko in HSR, I am not so sure), or anyone else that would appear, for that matter.
Raiden appeared in all 3, would make sense for Himeko too.
I think it won’t be himeko because while hi3 and hsr are in different universes, hsr is the same universe as GI so it wouldn’t make sense for there to be 2 himekos in one universe. Like it’s possible for the astral express to visit teyvat

@@Light.Of.Kshahrewar2.0 don't know how familiar you are with lore, but they are all in the same universe, or connected universes however you want to call it. Hsr Welt is literally the same guy as hi3, and he already met several "dupes".
If anything, Genshin is the one yet to be proven. Several obscure hints but nothing concrete untill Celestia I bet. So no, being in the same universe doesn't eliminate the possibility. Raiden is there to prove it, in all 3.

If genshite lunatics that can’t stop mocking other titles down the line, didn’t stop denying the game needs a general QoL in general and didnt stop reminding the game exists, I honestly would say they should have the pyro archon be a male due to them being at 3.5 to 4 female archons with raiden, Nahida, Tsarita and Furina and males being 2 to 2.5 with Venti, zhongli and mr water dragon where 2 out of 3 of them are using the same tall male character mode too.
So by technicality it’s 4 females and 2 males atm and once again leaning a bit too hard on the waifu side of things, even if Dainsleaf might as well be the equilvency of kahenriyah’s own version of a archon, once they shove in a 8th element to forcibly extend the region grind to further delay actually going into a real end game instead of the same song and dance over and over again with regions.
Cause I think it would be more interesting if the game just let you take game mechanics they want to flaunt about in certain regions to other ones.
Such as ‘actual’ swimming, plant grapple hooks, lightning travel mirrors and now what appears to be a mount system that should let players get a extended glide and proper high movement system, but we all know they will restrict it to Nathan by making it super barren as fk to allow easy asset loading so going too fast across a map wouldn’t break it faster then potato phones cause you to fall thru the ground every 5 feet.
I don't understand why everyone assumed that the leaker meant that the Pyro Archon would have a tall female model because to me it's pretty obvious that they meant that she would have a slightly taller medium model, hence the comparison with Furina.

Just increasing the Resin Cap, while good, wouldn’t alleviate the problem of needing to farm for extra Exp/Materials, they would also have to increase the Resin refresh rate to actually help. Though, I’m doubtful that they would.
They should adopt that resin system from hsr where it keeps storing resins for weeks without use

Edit: If they're raising character level to 100, then there should be 1extra passive added for each character related to their kit. Remember one passive can change the whole character, they shouldn’t miss out on chance on making old characters viable again, they'll able to sell their characters even more. The Gain will be for both sides

If levels increase to 100 then I presume so would things such as talents, but would we have to farm the talent books and mats to be able to upgrade to a max lvl 12? If not that just sounds like a nightmare, especially if each successive upgrade requires a crown

I really hope that pyro archon is a good offield dps because pyro dont have many off field characters. and i think this is true because as archon pyro archon has to be strong if she is a dps character than pyro has many dps units which she can overshadow. So i prefer her to be someone like raiden shogun who is meant to off field can also be on field dps.
