Hi Jim - thanks for these wonderful videos. They're such a gift. Question: how are you managing to play synchronously with each other over video chat without latency issues?
I don't know how they did it. Clearly a lot of latency on the web as you haven't received any reply from Jim in over two years ! However I'll suggest one possibility. You'll notice Mike is not wearing any headphones therefore he may not have heard Jim's contribution until Jim posted the video on UA-cam. All the recording was done at Jim's end and therefore there was no issue recording the two at the same time, even though it may have been several milliseconds after Mike actually played the tune. Indeed the guitar could have been added a week later !
Pretty sure this was one recording made and then another recording made on top, so they are not actually playing together on a video call. I've produced a video like this and I know that it's impossible to play live in sync over a video call.
