Doing this with the engine in the bay is a bitch, took me awhile I did it in my 96 Si, they do sell a kit for the delete as well.

That was the best mod I made on my 93 si, brakes are way better feeling after it. The flaring is a bitch and getting the lines off the abs pump are a bitch. Good luck bro

Biggg bet!!! Was just trying to do some research on how to delete my abs and that huge computer behind the pass rear panel. Was too scared to hop in it and not be able to drive it next spring if I messed it up, big thanks man makes me much less stressed about it! Good lookin!

How did you know which lines areto what? Like the reference for the prop valve i gotta make sure they are the same way. and i got one brake line thats bigger im gonna cut i dont see the 2nd one u mentioned , 92 prelude si

Hydraulic flaring tools are so much faster and much easier to use BUT cost anywhere from $200-$400 depending on brand and seller. But if you are able to get your hands on one it would cut down flaring time a lot and consistently makes perfect flares everytime. Once I used one I never went back to old manual type
I didnt plan on doing anymore brake line stuff so i went cheap lol
I'm about to do this to my 92 prelude. Did you remove the proportioning valve that's under the master cylinder, or did you just add an additional proportioning valve in place of the abs pump and motor?
Leave the one that's under the master cylinder and replace the abs unit with the second proportion valve
@@treybedipping1734 Thank you. How do your brakes feel? My Prelude has a full cage and is built for circle track racing. I'm run some pretty high speeds. The only reason I'm doing the conversion is because the abs pump is leaking.

aye trey, I ordered and installed this proportion valve on my 4th gen, but I have no brakes now. I tried to bleed them, yet it's not getting fluid. Is there anything you did after to get your brakes up and working?
Double check for leaks and keep bleeding until you have pressure in the brake pedal.
Also double check the way you hooked up the lines to the valve
Bet thank you. The diagram didn’t make much sense to me, so I winged it with the lines. I connected each line based on how yours were connected, but it was hard to see super clear. I appreciate the help.

My flanging was done easily on my 93 bb1 if your smooth at it lol you can do it to but in all the abs mod and its pump from the 4th gen are heavy pieces so I was happy getting my delete done... you just have to take the sensors out of the wells and its complete... get rid of front bumper support bar youll love it but in all I dropped a lot of weight out of my bitch
I deleted mine also bro but i used a 96 accord prop valve relocated the prop under the master cylinder like it is on the s modle prelude ...or accords re ran all new lines to bro be carful on those flares i had the same kit and they leaked bad had to by a flare kit from eastwood and they are perfect flares every time

Anytime bro the flares could of been user error to but i gt mad at the kit threw it in my closet and bought the more expensive one it works great just heads up you know brale fluid sucks on paint keep up the great work brobro
