- Many Ghanaians are engaged in online business activities but find it difficult to transact because they do not have Paypal accounts. My name is Joel Sam and this video tutorial is to help such individuals create their own accounts that will put an end to their struggle.
Ghana is not listed as a PayPal country but in response to comments on my previous videos, I felt it was necessary to share how to open a PayPal account in Ghana, exploiting an opening in the Paypal system which makes that possible. The Visa Card that is guaranteed to work for your withdrawals is the UBA Africard. This can easily be obtained from any UBA bank without necessarily owning a UBA Bank Account. Others which may work include Stanbic, Ecobank, Cal and Access Bank Visa Cards.

Hi Joel , have gone through your presentation and most questions asked are about unable to link a card to the account . I found out this trick couple of weeks ago , before you add a card , send a message to PayPal telling them you want yo link a card to your account , they will respond and tell you to get the number you used for the registration active and closer , they are gonna send ya a code to the number , you confirm the code before you move on to enter the card information. Someone can try and give us feedback . It works for me earlier but don’t know if they have stopped it

i can't add/link my UBA Prepaid card after creating the account (Your card has been declined. Please try a different payment method.)
I can't find Lesotho in the temp-number(country column)
So I followed the steps from the previous video to create a PayPal business account but haven't used it for any transaction because of all the noise around it potentially getting blocked. Do you recommend I delete it and create another personal account using these steps..

Create a virtual card from your Ghana bank card. Make sure the card u are using to create the virtual card is VISA or Mastercard. Regular atm cards will not work

@@gideonosei234 Joel Sam has a video about that on this channel. Alternatively contact your bank directly. Some local banks allow you to create a virtual card directly on your phone. Ecobank is one such bank. I know of GT too.

I’m not entirely sure about that. As far as I know, the UBA Africard, UMB prepaid card, Ecobank Virtual Card and Flutterwave Virtual Card work well.

Use the same process as you watch him... He said personal account not business ... You will get blocked when you use the business account
Using a temporary for PayPal might not work as PayPal use OTP to the register number as per every login
Great observation. This usually happens when you are trying to log in with the app. Using the website on PC helps you avoid that. I haven't had that challenge since I created mine.

hello bro, was able to create a PayPal account a while back, everything is working right except that I cant link any of my visa and mastercard to redraw money it keeps rejecting Visa card from Standard Chartered, Fidelity and Stanbic Mastercard, am unable to link my Payoneer account either. you need to contact paypal and tell them your visa card always get declined when you try to link. they will call you or text a code to the phone number you used creating the account.
After creating it I got a mail that I have been limited to transfer or receive funds. Any tips?

Well my problem is about the temp number which expires withing few minutes.... If you want to add a card , they would want to send a code to that number.... How can ya get the number back to receive the code once they said its expired !
