Good job Austin, it's always fun to spend a little time with you. I keep an extra coil in my backpack just in case. I hunt a lot of parks because I am more than 60 miles from the beach.
I would like to see you do more hunting at this park. I have a few big public parks very near my house and although they are also filled with trash they have also given me at least one of my best finds and many more interesting and unusual finds. It's all about the perseverance as you said. Thank you for sharing.
not dissing you at all as everyone does their own thing.... sigh... but I never used a pinpointer and found individual links of gold necklace chain with my Garrett ACE 250. Knowing the coil made all the difference in the world. Great vids, great scripting and videography quirky humor, good metal detecting skill and nice locations make for an enjoyable adventure. I live vicariously though you as metal detecting in Thailand seems less accepted than in the USA... :)
I usually survey the area and at places like courts and fields I look for the spots where I think the people may put their sports gear and clothes bags. That's where you find all sorts of odds and ends.
Hi Austin I just bought a double score. Can’t wait to get out and use it. Love your videos. I live in the Spring Hill area. Maybe we can hunt together sometime. I travel all over the Tampa Bay Area
Yeah in these parks I'm guilty of meandering more than anything, there's just so many signals even if I miss some overlaps there will always be more ahead. To do a thorough job it's a good idea to overlap. 👍
I've heard a lot of people say that where you find nickels you will find gold rings (or similar comments). If there were 1000 reasons why people lose things, I would say that relative conductivity of items would be reason 999.
I think for the price it's a pretty good addition, for me it doesn't help too much with ID stability but it's a good size coil for those trashy areas. Seems to have decent depth but never put it head to head with the stock coil.
That park can't be any worse than the other ones if not better , at least you've gotten more worthwhile targets . My postal updates says my X-TERRA PRO is supposed to be here today ( checked update just now ) YAY it sure is , OH BOY OH BOY , NEW TOY Catch Ya later Cheers Mate👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠☮☮🌈☺☺☕☕
@@TreasureOutdoors I've been keeping my eye out for quite a while. Might just try to find a used 6 inch equinox coil. It's supposed to help with the jumpy vdi numbers.
You know I only have one metal detector, and it is the X Terra pro. I recently got the V8X, only three days ago. I have found a ring every day, the first two days I found silver rings, and on the the third day I found a steel spiner ring. I use the same settings you use. The silver rings on the vid were like 84,85, and the steel ring was a 17,18. All found around the basketball court.
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Thanks for bustin' out the X-Terra Pro today👍....🚬😎👌!!!
(I learn vicariously about this machine by watching you use it) 🤓👍.
👍👍
That was fun to watch. 👍🙂
Looked like a great day to be out swinging, A. I’m glad you posted a video for us to watch you and D. Keep Swingin’. 😎

Wooohoooo Thanks Austin
If you feel at a disadvantage with your small coil….put your patient hat on and enjoy the ride! Happy New Year!🎉

I think I'll give it a shot a few more times, a little out of the way but plenty of targets to be had! 🤠
The pull tabs belong to the tennis ball cans , they’re sold with pressure pull tops cap.
Any possibility of at least a few of them are from soda cans? 👀
@@Sebcrab-ml1cu of course yes
Nice quick hunt. Catch you in the next one.

Merry Christmas Destiny and Austin. Hope its a happy new year as well.
Hope you're doing great, Gary.
Austin I watch your videos with my roku so can't give you thumbs up but all are great
Hey thanks for the feedback, appreciate ya. :)

Good idea to scope out the place a little bit. 👍

Maybe we can hunt together sometime.

Hope it treats you good!
Hey we might have to link up some time! 👍
Let me know how the Double Score works out for ya. 🤠

Just ordered the same coil it’s arriving Monday, which is super fast😊
Yea!! Jewelery!?Hi to Destiny !!
Woo who!!
Last year got a heaps of toe rings 3 gold 2 silver 🥈 were solid as one better than a ring.
Have you gone down to Venice fl
Haven't been that far down but it's something I'd like to do more of in 2024. :) 🌊
Where did you find the VAX coil I've been looking everywhere cannot find it
Hi Austin how do you like the 8 inch coil on the Xterra pto?
I think for the price it's a pretty good addition, for me it doesn't help too much with ID stability but it's a good size coil for those trashy areas. Seems to have decent depth but never put it head to head with the stock coil.
This is an older video now but I ordered the V8X coil for my xtp. Word is that it helps stabilize the VDI. Do you find that to be true?
I will give a solid maybe, seems to depend a bit on soil type.
I enjoy the V8X a lot though, hope you do too!
@@TreasureOutdoors It definitely swings easier.

Sweet! Hope you're out there having fun! :)
Do you know anyone in the states with that v8x coil for sale?
Think they've been out of stock for a while, hopefully Minelab has some more in the works.

Very nice! I have to take it out a little more to give it a real chance, it feels good in the park. Pretty nice setup for a good price. 👍
