Finally someone who put Roja Elysium !! On perseus!! Yes I’ve been saying this just like Elysium on that grapefruit smell and yes I barely wear my 10ml of Perseus it got so boring on dry down when I wore it to gym
Ya if people aren’t saying Elysium they need to smell it again it’s like a dumbed down version and super boring
I have both LB Forever and TDH Eau Givree. This seems completely redundant given the prices of PDM

Tried it last week. Thought it was nice for summer but the price tag is high for what it is. Would rather get Eau Givree, Mancera Vetiver Sensuel, Sole DItalie, or Sicily for 1/3 the price.
Agreed it’s nice just other better and cheaper options
I like it. This scent profile can definitely lean more mature, but I feel like they did a good job making this more mass appealing. In the drydown there is this touch of sweetness, combined with what's left of the grapefruit & vetiver that just works for me. I get excellent longevity too. It lingers for quite a while.
Ya it’s not bad I just prefer the similar less expensive fragrance much more
I am new to the game and this replaces a bunch of similar frags I don't need now. Plus the wife likes it and PDM does better on longevity and quality than most IMO. Spray on your clothes is a must.
Ya clothes is always a must it’s just after owning Eau givree I don’t need it as I like givree better

@@FragranceDOUD the one tht was leaked years ago. It was full of citrus and some mint and was a clear yellow-orange bottle
I'm torn by Perseus. I've tested my 5ml decant a few times now and like it, but desperately want to love it. So I'm currently undecided, and even more so, given my love of Terre d'Hermes Eau Givrée, Sospiro Vibrato and Roja Elysium. All 3 are exceptional.
Ya see my issue wasn’t scent. The scent is nice just there are other better less expensive options like Eau givree out there that may not smell exact but close enough i don’t find it warranting a purchase
@FragranceDOUD I agree with you Randy. The Scent is good but it smells similar to a number of more affordable options. If the right offer comes up then I might be tempted, however I'm in no rush. LV Imagination remains as my no1 pick up for Summer 2024.
What’s your favorite PDM for warm weather? How does this rank vs the other warm weather PDM’s. Maybe redundant.
It’s my 5th favorite from them my favorites are sedley as a solid 1, Percival 2 because it’s so easy to wear, 3 is greenley, and 4 is godolphin which is a nice fruity leather scent for all year. Perseus is only redundant to Eau givree and Elysium if u have tried them it doesn’t smell like any of the other PDMs tho
Just ordered it for around 200 after coupon at fragflex.
I'ld give it a Dior Homme 2020 meets the LB Forever. Just high quality. I think when it hits the discounted PdM prices like $170, i'ld pick it up. Nice, but has been done and it's almost played out imo.

Just got a sample and I 100% agree with you on your review. Really nice opening but after about 20 minutes the fragrance becomes pretty bland and boring. Kind of resembles the crushed sweet tarts smell that I get from Terre D'Hermes EDT and do not like at all. Perseus is a fine smelling fragrance but def nothing special and def not worth the price, even discounted IMO.
Yep 100% agree. Smells nice not gonna buy it unless somehow it’s like $80
I dont like grapefruit at all. I blind bought italian love and it’s gathering dust on the shelf since then. Pass for me
See, I like grapefruit whenever it’s not rind. I enjoy it in many fragrances like light blue intense and stuff like that where it’s more citrusy and less prominent

I didn't think I would like it. I do really like it. I think it is dam good. I love it. Longevity is dam good! Althaïr I love it as well. Pdm,initio went in partnership with them. They are still made in France. The owner is still part of the business. Drydown on perseus is so clean I think the opening and drydown is good. Narcotic delight now I love it. I think the 3 new release was solid. I don't pretend I'm a perfumer I just know it smells good
Definitely solid but in comparison to their previous releases like sedley, herod, greenley, layton, oajan, and so on they don’t compare
@FragranceDOUD I feel you I don't mind different things. Maybe they will surprise us all in 2025 or 2026
After 10 to 15 minutes it's just a vetiver and ambroxan bomb!!!! Off my skin lol lol lol
