I wish the rtx 4070 mobile version had at least 10gb vram instead.
Mine should be here later today. I also got a nice laptop stand/cooler to help keep it nice and cool more then the good cooling already will.

Just an update for everyone, I ended up deciding to return this laptop, the performance was not satisfactory, I ran some benchmarks and it was crashing a lot in tests using DirectX 12. I also have a desktop with an RTX 3080 and the performance was lower than my desktop. I don't know if I was unlucky enough to buy a defective laptop, but I returned it anyway. I'm waiting for my new laptop to arrive with an RTX 3070 Ti.
It's better get 30 series laptops 40 series ones are seriously scam
@@mazebankMK2 I think they can actually tell you its a newer series but this series isnt as powerful.. or something. and for sure.. the desktop 3080 is gunna be more powerful. These new 40 series card laptops arent a scam. But, they arent going to out perform anything newer gen desktopwise.
Likely because drivers need to be improved. Once time passes, drivers will improve.
The laptop 3070ti is literally a desktop 3070 at its 140w/150w tdp and has the exact same chip as the desktop 3070. So expect it to be within 10% with tuning.
The rtx ''4070'' is based on the rtx 4060 desktop die, NOT the 4070 dssktop die. Hence the 128bit bus and 8gb vram. Its literally no faster than a 3070ti mobile mate.
I highly suggest you get the $1150 aorus 15p with a 3070 mobile 140w (3060ti desktop perf) or the $1350 rrx6800m rog strix (desktop rx6700xt perf).
if you expect the laptop to outperform rtx 3080 desktop to begin with, it says more about you than the laptop itself

I bought this laptop, it came with the MSI logo apparently with a manufacturing defect, as the print quality is really poor.
I'm referring to the Dragon logo on the external part of the laptop lid.
Can you confirm if is it normal? Is it like an odd blurry effect made on purpose? Or is it a manufacturing defect? Great video and Thanks in advance!!

The laptop's cooling system is amazing, a little bit loud when playing, the bottom part doesn't heat up at all, the top part heats up a little. I'm posting a new video right now.
