Guys. I'm a rocker from my childhood, I've never listened to James Blunt, sometimes I heard him on the radio, but didn't even pay attention to his songs... Until now. Maybe it's because I'm older now, or something, but his performance touched me right in the heart. I was literally crying while watched him behind the piano and I felt every word of the lyrics. Man, that song is a masterpiece even itself but I can't even imagine anyone else to sing it more beautiful, with more passion and emotion. Maybe it is just me, but I can see some tears in his eyes too. Gosh, I love this song!

My first real love was gone and I felt hollow like he sings. To this day when almost nothing else in my life makes me cry, this song always brings me to the tears. I’ve had the privilege of seeing him perform several times in person and it’s incredible to watch. Just a guy and a piano and yet 20,000 people can feel every word and every emotion. It’s common to see people just break out in tears as his words just hit a spot in your heart.

I've read a number of comments, either on this particular video or on others that slate him for complaining about the effects of COVID. The narrow-mindedness of some people to even consider that COVID didn't affect all people is insulting. It did impact musicians both big and small in the same way it impacted every other facet of life. This was a beautiful performance that truly resonated with me and the people I lost.
