Have A Nice Rest Of Your Day :)
Wow! I haven't been to Eilat since 1976. The new airport doesn't look anything like the one I left from. I haven't been to Israel since 1984. The Eilat videos, and the videos flying into Lod, well, it's just a different world from the one I remember. Times have changed, and the prayers I left in the wall have been answered. We are living in a much better world.
The plane must have barely reached cruising height before commencing its descent! Great video! I'm so looking forward to visiting Israel when all these travel restrictions are finally lifted
A few days ago Ramon airport opened up to international flights for the first time in 2 years and israel is welcoming tourists again. Now is the best time to go to Israel 🙂
When I saw the old 777s, it reminded me of a funny story. I was traveling with my son back to Newark, after we visited my daughter in Israel. She lived in Beersheva then. I looked at the plane and said, “Oh, it’s the same 777 (named Carmel at that time) that took us over here.” A man overheard us and said, “I recognize you from that flight since I was on it too. But it was a 737.” I said, “You are mistaken because a 737 cannot fly nonstop from Newark.” He insisted, “I KNOW FOR A FACT it was a 737!” My son and I looked at each other, and we said simultaneously, “Ok, you must be right” 🤣
Thanks for sharing! Have always wondered what it must be like to fly domestically in Israel (and to see the "new" airport in Eilat - looks great)!
Just a great video. Must be an amazing feeling walking out from the plane basically in the desert in Eilat.
Thanks!
Yup this was probably one of the best flights I took. I got off the plane picked my bags up and got onto the bus to Eilat all in under 10 minutes and half an hour after getting off the plane I was already at my hotel. The Ramon terminal is small but really convenient and nothing beats the Eilat deserts
Wonderful report! The last time I flew on the Eilat route, we landed on the return at Sde Dov, so it was a long time ago.
Thanks! Sadly sde dov is closed now
@@rbspotter WHY????
@@stuartlee6622 because the land sde dov was on was owned by independent people/corporations who wanted to build apartments and other things on that land and it was also economically inefficient to operate that airport. As sad as it is they closed it same for eilat city airport :(
Gam ani!
You flew over Lod, Ramle, Gedera Givat Washigton, Gan Yavne, Sde Boker, Bee'r Sheva to Eliat Ramon.
I had some of the most amazing ice cream, and grapes, in Sde Boker in the early 70's.
This was a great video. You took the time to show us around both Terminals which really added to the experience. One thing I have gained is that I didn’t realise there was car hire in Ramon Airport! We might hire one instead of taking a taxi to and from Eilat when we are finally allowed back to Israel to visit! Last time we were there we used the old Eilat airport. Unfortunately Israel isn’t allowing tourists in if they have children under 12 yet (That’s because they’re insisting everybody is in possession of a vaccination).
Really awesome! Not too many reviews of Arkia's A321neo out there, well filmed!
Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome Review!
i dont know if you noticed, on the bus, 4X EDA was the el al plane @simply aviation took!
T1 seems outdated, because until T3 opened in 2004, it was the airport's international Terminal while the unused T2 was the domestic one.
Do the a+ seats offer extra legroom or is it some sort of priority/EuroBusiness section for longer flights?
6:52 is that tail of Azerbaijani Il76?
❤❤❤
This will cost extra for tourists or anyone making it to eilat !
In the Future leave the subtitles up a touch longer!!
There was an issue with the video speed and subtitles being in context with each other which is why the subtitles passed so fast. The issue has since been fixed 👍🏽
Shalom .Thank you. Watching from Australia. 73 Praise the Lord 37 . 26 Praise the Lord 86 . Amen.
"I will lift up my people on the wings of eagles." Isiah 40:31
Take out the subtitles too fast, the video was good thou.
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately this time the video was too fast so the subtitles had to go by fast to keep up with the video Time and context. I would recommend pausing though its the best way to see what is being said because the subtitles are permanent and cannot be removed
Nice video,thanks.
