Rare approach…usually when it enters from the north, it lands on runway 21, and when it approaches from the south and flies over the city and to the other side, it lands on runway 30. This one came in from the north, got deep above the WB (Samaria), made u-turn, and landed on 30.

I can't tell where the plane was in the air to where it touched the ground during the landing.
This is because rather than flying the plane directly over tel aviv for landing they flew it above Judea and Samaria and other parts of israel probably due to high traffic that day

Why do they take you so far out over the Judea hills to line up for landing?
The area around the airport is very densely populated, close to Tel Aviv and it's suburbs so it's a for a noise restriction and b the area of the west bank overflown is under Israeli control

Very dodgy of that plane to go over the west bank as it could have been hit by a surface to air missile. Worse, imagine flying over Gaza - that would be a suicide flight!
The plane was flying above militarized zones of the west Bank with IDF presence and over jewish towns there as well. We didn't fly near any of the dangerous Palestinian towns. On the other hand the plane would probably be shot down if it flew over gaza.....
