That's not an automatic. It's a computer-controlled manual. The difference is the presence of a torque converter. DCTs (which I think you mean) like the PDK, the unit in the C8, and pretty much any high-end sportscar (and several low-end crossovers) these days still have a clutch disc (or two) and associated hydraulics. They just don't have the pedal.
on my yamaha ybr 125 when my bike is idle in neutral and i try pressing and releasing the clutch multiple times. why doesn't that lower engine revs. isn't that supposed to lower it.

i mean to simplify things yes an automatic transmission doesnt need a clutch, except they make automatic transmissions with clutches, like DSGs
