What is the additional piece on Leon’s Noseband? I don’t believe I’ve seen something like it before.
It's apart of the bit which is a "Myler 3 ring combination bit" which uses both nose and mouth pressure
A bunch of barrel racers use something similar. There's many different mouthpieces and sides for them. I use one for my boy because he has no breaks with a hack, but hates certain bits.

I have never been so jealous of a how clean a horse’s legs are, my horse is a fleabitten/dapple grey and she LIVES in mud, her legs are always caked and I’ve basically given up on cleaning them since it doesn’t make much difference. 💀

we like how you treat those horses how you wash them and so that you don't stab them in the stomach with spurs and they can stretch your neck a lot of caves it does and you don't do it that's why you're great

riding so well!!! do you do hunters? in England, i guess for dressage, we ride with our shoulders up/back so that we are straight. but i guess this helps get a nicer looking position over the fences

what is the purpose of that extra noseband on his bridle ?
lize I believe the second “noseband” is attached to the bit so when Claire pulls, Leon also feels a bit of pressure on his face😊
It means the rider needs a more well trained horse and needs more lessons. No one should have to use a harsh "technique" if they know how to properly train a horse.
Hannah Marie no it doesn’t. It Emma’s the horse is still in training and learning the rider’s aids. It’s really has nothing to do with the rider. Even top level riders use those extra pieces because OF THE HORSE, not because of them
