Thank you both for touching on what happened during pandemic of the divide in the yoga community over the vax, and how you both believe that it should have been left up to everyone personally. Yoga is about honoring our bodies and in this situation making a personal medical decision between an individual and their doctor.
I truly enjoyed listening to this this morning. I haven’t seen Shiva in so long and this gives me that Shiva live connection that makes me smile. and it was also wonderful To meet you as well. I’ve never been to bhakti yoga fast. I hope to make it out there one day. But I’m with you in spirit. I’m visiting Joshua tree this Saturday so I’ll be thinking of you all. Much love. You to keep on spreading your love because we feel it and love it!!!
Thanks for presenting this interview! I was pleasantly surprised to hear you taught and studied at Integral yoga in NYC. Integral yoga SF and Shiva Rea were my very first teachers back in the 90’s. Two immensely beautiful and important influences. I still practice and teach Integral Hatha to this day. Also I had the pleasure of going on retreat with Shiva in Somatheeram in 2006 and seeing her practice with her Kalarpayyatu teachers in Kerala. Well wishes to you both.
