Making a Clay Dog Head

Making clay dogs is so much fun! I love to do this as the first animal making demo for my over 200 ceramic high school students because if they make the nose too large or too small, if the head is skinny, or it's fat, it's just a different dog breed!. This video has added details that makes it more appropriate for high school aged and adult ceramicists but for elementary and middle school level students you can watch the dog head making video that I posted over a year ago. See the next 2 videos I posted to make a dog's body either sitting down (1 video), or in the next video laying down.
