How To Cut Batting Off The Bolt

In this video, I will show you how to cut batting off the bolt. I'm just a little backed up so I have quite a few quilts that need quilting. I will show you how to put everything together to keep this organized while waiting to go on the longarm or on your sewing machine.
My husband helped me which I was so happy about as it took quite a long time.

I understand it but a newbie will be lost! 😅 the first few times I had the whole roll on the floor and it was visually easier me to understand. But great tips!

Hi Lisa
When I did my first couple of quilts I did buy precut binding. When I finally bought my first bolt I actually cut it then unfolded it, then laid it out to cut it.
Ohhhhhhh I really struggled, it was just awful. Once I figured to leave it in half on the fold and cut the width then turn it, and then cut the length, it was like the bells went off for me🔔🔔🔔🔔 and I had figured it out. It had finally made sense to me..........What a relief I had in that moment...........😊😊😊😊
