I do, however, think that she's trying to be an emotionally present parent and I respect that. Too many parents treat their children as an extension of themselves and rob them of their autonomy. Then we wonder why we have a country full of narcissists!

All of this really depends on the disposition of your child. I have four children and my son literally does not stop after a no thank you. It requires more urgency. My daughters will stop the first time I tell them. Every child is different
I also parent my child similarly. I make sure to really listen to her and make her know how special and loved she is. She tells me I’m her best friend and she’s lucky to have a mom like me. I’m lucky to have an angel like her. 😘

Here I am with three kids (1, 5, and 7) and never hit any of them. It's tough. But you have to start early. My kids aren't afraid to say what is on their minds and call me out when I'm wrong. They aren't afraid to apologize when they are called out for being wrong, either.

You can communicate with your kids without hitting them. One of mine is a little more challenging than the other, but neither went through the "terrible twos".

@@nerdynina4734 absolutely disgusting. No one can convince me that bathing with your 10 yr old is normal. She has a sick obsession/attachment to her son. She also doesn't believe in eating bananas and thinks letting your baby sleep in a crib is abusive. She is not okay mentally!

Don't all parents "force" their life style on their children? I'll admit that I haven't kept up with her parenting issues, so I can't really comment on what ever admission she made about her kid using tongue when he kisses or pre chewing his food. I don't kiss my kids on the lips even though they've tried. Maybe they would try to use their tongues, too. I don't bathe with my children, but I do help my children bathe. And I wouldn't rule out showering with them if needed. Not everything is sexual. Pre chewing is weird to me, but probably not as bad as hitting a kid. Is she still pre chewing for him or was that when he was smaller?
i crack up her “ healthy life style “ and she is all about no wasteful spending in one of her pictures she’s got a hi end stove behind her and her son is using Raos pasta sauce from a jar so she like the rest of hollywood is hypocritical of others but food for them plus the kid acts well younger than he is
