Mongolian is the single coolest sounding language, especially in rock/metal. Change my mind! As a matter of fact, that is the only reason I took up studying it back then. Turkish is cool, yes. German is cool, yes. Finnish and Japanese are cool aswell. But none of these languages however are 'Mongolian cool.' PS: If any publishers are reading this, we need better text books for English speakers!!! Get on it, man! When Google translate is better teacher than the (old-ass) text books that are available, something is seriously wrong. It might be a good time to update the books. As you might have noticed, we no longer live in the 70's, so there are quite alot of things that are to be added in the text books.

If you like these guys, check out ”Nine teasures.” They are a Mongolian folkish metal band, rather similar to Hangai, but they are well known enough to play in Europe every now and then.
Ha!!!! I received the notification from you precisely when listening to NineTreasures, man!!!! Incredible band! Tes river hymn... Discovered 10 min ago, after browsing Hanggai and searching for other Mongolian treasures... No words... Actually, I remember 1 year ago I stumbled upon a great band from Mongolia releasing Pynk Floyd whole covers in English (forget the name for the moment). It was a huge surprise, their sound and talent were amazing... Now I go on wishing to discover new things and good music in Asia. To me, it's like another planet! So many talents and quality music, unknown yet (to me at least). Now Hanggai and NT are on my Top... Can't wait to discover new ones.
