- Reaper, Drop Ride to Doom was an indoor Mack e-Motion coaster that operated at Amsterdam Dungeon from 2005 to 2014. The ECC visited in 2007 where we got the chance to ride it in the dark, and then film the ride and POV with all the lights on. It was a fun ride with an elevator lift-hill, which is quite rare on roller coasters. Enjoy the ride.

I applaud the fact they tried a coaster in such a small but wonderful setting, can see why it didn't last though!
Agreed! It was certainly a unique place to have a coaster!
There is only one operational - the one in Helsinki (which I have also ridden) - this one was removed, and no information I can find on current location or if scrapped.
davidjellis it's not scrapped ;) it's bought by an Dutch invester who buys second hand rides to fix them up and sell again or sometimes use it in small parks he builds. right now he is busy making 'Attractie Park Rotterdam'. they have vlogs on UA-cam about the build of that park and in 1 of the vlogs you can see reaper standing (almost) fully assembled outside. only parts missing are the lift and the turn table, tho I think they left those out on purpose

Thanks for uploading! Now I get to see what it actually looks like. I rode this in 2007 and thought the coaster was going to be longer for some reason. One of my friends said it best, "The longest pre-show for the shortest coaster."Ha ha.

For the people wondering why its gone now: Im an actrice at this dungeon and my collegues have told me it was too much of a hassle. It allowed smaller groups in the dungeon and caused a lot of wait, which sometimes caused a jam and messed up the flow for the actors aswell.
Edit: it also allowed more space for other shows

probably one of mack's weirdest coasters
I have been there a several times (lived in Amsterdam) I never saw a Rollercoaster! They must have expanded the building somehow.
It was there 2005 to 2014 - so not sure why you never saw it?
They didn't expand, it was inside the Church

I heard that the ride was removed from 2014 and will not reopen. Oh I wish the ride will reopen and come back.

This might be the world's only roller coaster built that uses a turntable and does not go backwards.

Indeed - it wasn't until I was uploading the video did I realise the ride has been removed...was a unique coaster so a shame it has now gone.

I've been to Amsterdam Dungeons 3 times, once in 2010 and twice in 2011. I absolutely loved this little coaster. I always thought it was quite intense for what it was

good idea but not executed the correct way. it would be better to have a proper drop ride in there you would getr alot more people through and you caould have alot more people on the ride at once

To be fair, it had a separate loading and unloading station. Fun Fact: the loading station was the elevator track in the middle! It had 3 Heights it stopped, at the bottem so the train could get on from the unload, than in the middle so guests could load on and then to the top for the ride start. Quite clever made in my eyes
I rode this and was disappointed. Boring!

It was definitely a shame, as it's still an interesting looking ride.
The ride was considered anti-climactic; the Amsterdam Dungeon has gone ahead amd changed up the entire space by putting new shows in place of the old rollercoaster. They were running out of space, so this was the perfect location to expand the actual Dungeon

Do any other dungeons in Europe have similar rides?
Many of the Dungeons have some sort of ride / attraction (usually at the end of the experience) although pretty sure none of the others featured a roller coaster.
I know of the Blackpool one has a small drop tower at the end!!!
lots of the dungeons have mini indoor drop towers at the end
