    Great detailed video. The only thing I think you missed was cleaning out the hybrid battery cooling fan with one of those air can dusters. According to other videos I've seen they get pretty dusty and dirty after 200,000 miles.

    It shows all your batteries are sold out. I have a 2010 prius. Can you shed some light on what's going on with your inventory? No matter what's up,I would just appreciate truth. If you are not going to restock,can you tell me where to go,if anywhere for an upgrade on a 2010 prius? Thank you fir your time.

    This is awesome, thank you. My battery pack in my gen2 '08 model is really starting to diminish in power as I can tell from my mpg and the way my gauge shows quick charge and discharge. All I need now is to hit a couple big bucks in the lottery so I can finally afford the upgrade.

    Hi, I have one question, what % of SOC and SOD for Lithium Battery is kept by car system computer. Say for NiMH if it is kept between 30-70% ( Kindly correct it if it is not correct ), as Lithium Battery has different voltages so how come the car computer ( or Battery Management if there is any ) readjust the both states. As per you data kindly show the difference between SOC and SOD for both type of batteries. Or there is some manual adjustment ( Based on Battery voltage ) which one can adjust based on type of batteries.
    Another comment, both battery chemistry ( Li and NiMH )need different charging modes of charging like CC and CV mode. How car computer manages it , as the existing Battery ECU is made for NiMH type batteries. Li batteries are charged in CC Mode till it reached 80% of SOC and then put on CV mode till it reaches full charge. Does each blade has its own BMS System.

      same 40%~80% , voltage is not the only way to determine the SOC, there are also Coulomb counter onboard the battery ECU.

      @@hybridapp7158 Thanks a lot for the reply. Will the coulomb charge is approximately equal for both NiMH and Li Battery for same AH capacity size. Also it means that the battery condition shown on dash board is not based on voltage but on coulomb count. Hypothetically If someone build another LiFeso4 battery bank based on higher AH capacity (say 30AH , may use extra space from back trunk ) cells then what will happen?

      @@saleemafzal614 The correct answer above should be, "we're not entirely sure, but it will continue to be computed via the same criteria for NiMH because we haven't made any changes to the battery management." The reality is that because the voltage curve for LFP is so flat, the car will absolutely, positively use more than 40-80% of the rated capacity. Their own marketing materials claim that it will use more in EV mode as well.

    How does lithium ion battery do in extremely hot and humid climates where temps are over 103 compared to NiMH?

    Possible compare Nimh and Lithium charging time take from 40% to 45% for prius and prius C. If Idealling charging time reduce also an important point for fuel saving. Hope able provide comparison videos. Thanks.

    I have Prius2011, I refill the fuel but range limit doesn't increase....why is that?
    Although the fuel gauge is showing 4 bars and range is 65 km
    Expert opinion plz

      You should look into the fuel pump tank lever floater. Could be stuck or bad. As you fill your tank or use gas it float up or down and thats how it'll read your range and tank level. Pretty sure its integrated into the fuel pump so you might have to replace the whole fuel pump if its bad
