#DuranDuran #Anniversary
Theyve managed to make it sound modern and 80s at the same time
Duran Duran sounding like classic Duran Duran. Love love love it!
My thoughts exactly, and my new favorite song!
100% agree
This band is absolutely awesome!. Putting out new albums every few years!.. no other band is doing this. Love everything about Duran Duran!.
Amazing! Classic Duran Duran, like when we listened to “Girls on Film” and “Hungry Like the Wolf” all those years ago when we were young. Long live the 80s, pure joy.
"Pure Joy!" indeed. Or even-'More Joy!'.
Para sempre anos 80
Bass Wild Boys John Taylor ! + Hungry like The Wolf+ The Reflex + Hold Me + Too Bad your so beautiful + Friends of Mine!! This Song is one of best of ALL History from Duran Duran.
This song definitely has the groove and the rythum of what defines essential duran duran. This does go back to the roots. Hurry up October 22, 2021.
That’s when we are all back in Lockdown
due to toxicity of the ‘boosters’.
DD's new album is making Duran Duran fans very excited and proud to be a lifelong Duranie.
Plz hurry ! Dying here!
@@FFab-DD68 always will b no doubt!
@@cathsalazar9930 me too.

Oh my god just got the chills all over my body!! The NEW ALBUM is gonna break all the records .....tu, tu,tu....Hungry Like the Wolf?! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
So proud to be a Duranie and AMAZING vocals , WOW Simon is smashing it...CAN'T believe this great sound.
Love you guys and all you duranies all over the world!!!
Absolutely!! Wishes from Western Australia..
I had the same reaction! *tingle tingle* :D
It's back....Duran Duran fever.
I don't know what part I like the most, it changes...chorus, the bridge, the do-do-do's... the ah-ah-ahs...the anthemic 'Celebrate!' so much to choose from.
@@andyspokes2915 Wish they'd play the new music on West Aus radio
At last a glimpse of the Duran Duran I fell in love with 40 years ago. Top notch track.
Me too first heard DD at work away back in 1981 then seen them on top of the pops they just didn't just sound great they where incredible group and very handsome thought Simon was the most gourgous man on earth and a wonderful sense of humour can't wait to seen them in concert next year
Isn't it!
Congratulations Duran Duran reaching 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!!!!!!!
the synth and bass are spot on!!!! the most important instruments of duran and once again they don’t fail us 😍😍
The whole shabang is an absolute belta! I cannot wait to listen to the whole album.
They all "fly" in this one... synth, drums, bass, guitar, voice... all working seamlessly together like any great Duran song.
To me, it’s just not a true Duran Duran song without John playin’ that f’in bass! Awesome song!

Duran Duran is the best band
Topsingle! Typical DD! Simon's voice on this one is great!
OMG it’s 2021 and the world is upside down but Simon’s voice just gave me chills!!! It’s time to be enshrined in Rock in Roll Hall of Fame!!!!!
💯 so right
Yes long over due 20 years ago...
JT's bassline gave me chills too.
Should have happened a while ago
Other bands from the eighties got in to the music hall of fame before Duran Duran The Cure and Depech Mode WTF
💖🎼"Anniversary", is a song that once you've heard it-
'it won't leave you!' I can be doing something, and in the middle of that:
**Here comes This "Anniversary"song; popping up in my mind! 🥰
I have loved Duran Duran for 40 years, and once I heard this song:
I knew it was one of the best they've done in a long time🎼💖💋
You guys must have found the fountain of youth, Simon's voice sounds the same as it did back in the 80's.
Yep! 💯👍
Much much better than the 80´s!
Updated and reloaded voice! like an old wines his voice never get old!
@@carlosgoncalves9214 indeed, he just gets better with time!!!
No , sounds much better. He do something with his voice .
I heard this on the radio and thought, "Is that really Duran Duran after all these years??" So I had to search and confirm. Great song.
The warm wash of the Rio sound in full effect
Its climbing the charts of BBC Radio 2!
SIMON LE BON!!!!!! THE VOICE OF 80´s!!! INCRIVEL !!!!! FABULOSO!!!
The voice of NOW
Also, John Taylor!!!!! THE BASSIST OF 80´s [and beyond] !!! INCRIVEL !!!!! FABULOSO!!! (though, not forgetting Nick and Roger. I'm just a little bit into basslines😘)
Exatamente! 🇧🇷
Cripplingly underrated writer, sadly.
Wow!!!
This song could've been perfectly fitted on the 1983 Seven And The Ragged Tiger album... but it is 2021 and it's NEW!!!
CELEBRATE!!!!!
This is why I love Duran Duran until now I'm 51 still duranie n from malaysia awesome song
MORE COWBELL!
On second thought, the amount of cowbell is absolutely perfect.
My mom has been a fan since the early '80s, this is FANTASTIC AWESOME!!! WE ARE DANCING!!!
Four songs so far and I really like where this is going!!
Well guys you have just knocked this one out of the park. This song would sit perfectly in one of those early sets in The Rum Runner Nightclub days, it is a lovely nod to the past and befitting of the title. This is not only a celebration of all you have achieved as a band but also a song for the fans who have shared the journey with you for the past 40 years. Happy Anniversary - and a toast to Future Past!
Love this comment! I couldn't have said it any better myself!
Oh I totally agree!!!!
Absolutely Chris, really took me back to the 80's.
Absolutely! My favorite so far on this album. Took me right back to the 80’s. Yet it’s right on time for 2021. Congrats, DD!
Amen
Seriously the most Duran Duran song since view to a kill … if you don’t like this you don’t like Duran Duran
I was thinking the same thing!
I am thinking this is DD's best song since Come Undone in 1993.
I'm back in the 80's in the '21's!!!!!!!! Thank you DD!!!!
Although I'm 76 years old, I know talent when I hear it. Not only is their sound sublime, but their lyrics are smart. Amazing!
If everyone who has watched this goes out on the 22nd of October and buys the album in the UK we will have a Nr1 Album on our hands.
Just fantastic... So lucky to have my favourite band from when I was a teenager in the 80s still making amazing music...
I feel exactly the same.
I feel the same way. The album is coming out on my 53rd birthday!
I was 30 something now 72 love em 💯
I feel the same, a love story began 38 years ago!
With you there.
A perfect Duran Duran Track.
This is what you love as a fan and have to listen to on a continuous loop without interruption. Thanks Duran Duran 😊
Four more days!!!!!! I still get as excited as I did when I was 11. When I said, "Duran Duran forever!" I meant it!!!!!
The Best Anniversary Song for these 40-years of career… It would be a masterpiece if it included a riff by Andy
This is pure Duran Duran. Nothing more to add except I love it!
This album looks like a winner.
John stated that this song was a treat for the fans - indirectly implying that there won’t be others like it on the album 😢
Needs more funk chucking guitar. Minor quip though.
Pure excellence by DD!
The first time I've heard this song I didn't like It too much, but the more I listen to it, the more it grows up in my opinion.
Fantastic! They are back!!!
Gone back to their roots....old mixed with new....absolutely brilliant. Been listening to them since my child Hood. Not many bands make it in America! They did. Keep going!
This song takes me back to where it all started. Thank you Simon, Nick, John, and Roger for the last 40 years.
Duran Duran never fails to deliver. I have been a fan since when they began their climb to greatness. Simon Le Bon's voice gold. Love them !!!
"Come holy and unchained.".....Great line....🎼🎶💞🎉🤗
The Wild Boys + The Reflex + Memories Fade (by Tears For Fears) + Runway Runaway + Meet "El Presidente" + Hungry Like The Wolf + All She Wants Is + Union Of The Snake = Anniversary.
Simply great!
OH.... DEAR... GOD....! How can it be soooooooo good??!!! How can it be sooooo amazing???!!! I'm astonished! It makes me smile and cry! Oh, boy!!! The synth and bass are perfect! THESE GUYS!!!! THESE GUYS ARE DURAN DURAN!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
The best song so far. They're making me cry!
Yes! They're back in their old and greatest form. These are the live music feel that I like in duran duran . Live drums and bass guitar and not too synth oriented music. I like these guys. This is the best song so far from their fort coming album.
I dig the 'do do do dododo'
@@michaelcruz7704 I agree with you 100%
Me, too!
They really tapped into their old bag of writing/studio tricks for this one - great for the fans! The bass, the 'do, do's,' the chorus hook - perfection! This is what I've been hoping for since 2009/10.
This is superb...Simon's voice is sensational!!! Takes me right back
Well done Duran Duran! Wish I was in Birmingham for your homecoming.
Utterly brilliant. Clever musical nods to the reflex and wild boys. They've delivered a track to remind everyone how truly awesome they are in the fortieth year of their careers. This will bring the house down live. 👏👏🎉
Yes, “The Reflex”. I could hear it!
Do-do-dodo….
U bet cha
@@janetskelton4196 same!.....👍💯
Going to Scarborough September
*I knew I'd love this song* from the teaser they put out the other day!!!
OMG, John's thumping bass line again!!
Simon's voice, the lyrics, I can't wait for the video now
They’ve done it again. Out-freakin-standing! Again! There was never any doubt. 😄
Every single word of this song...takes me to my Kids days ...the song is the ball that i try to get and makes me breaking through a piramidal interdimensional gate...
I'm crazy with this music, it's f***ing good, this is an absolutely hit.
Wild Boys groove / The Reflex Intro / Hungry Like The Wolf du dud du/ Planet Earth synths sounds and first two notes in the riff / Hold back the Rain vibes and drum fills..Seems like a lot and it's everything to us too! Thank you for always being around DD.
This is going to be the best Duran Duran album since Big Thing. Absolutely brilliant
Turned out it was the best album since Rio! 😍
I think the guys speak for us all - "it means everything to us." Yes, it does. Here's to the entire Duranniverse on our anniversary!
New Romantics are back
WOW. Already this is Classic. Invisible is definitely among DD’s best material and More Joy is excellent- but Anniversary is a reason for people to fill a stadium. It just screams LIVE music. 👏
This song reeks of The Reflex and Hungry Like the Wolf. Vintage DD with a touch of something new.
...and All of you!😍
God! How does this band still continue to THRILL with new songs like this - 21 years into the 21st century???
"The Man Who Stole A Leopard" in 2010 absolutely took my breath away. A masterpiece equal to the best of their work.
"Anniversary" pulls it off again for Duran Duran. ONE listen - and that ascendant VOICE from Simon... that dance beat pulsing... that shimmering synth... it's so "DURAN DURAN".
I love this song.
(And today is my 25th wedding anniversary! Lucky wife & I!!)
#DuranDuran
#Anniversary
Oh wow!! My husband & my 25th anniversary is in exactly 2 weeks!! Happy anniversary to both of you🎉!!
Agreed
Yeah Doug, Stole a Leopard was fantastic especially live !!! Love the entire AYNIN album, I just miss AndyT’s guitar and influence on my fav band!!!
"Leoppard" is a sick tune. Those sequenced sounds from Nick are so awsome!!
Happy anniversary to you and your wife, and here's to the next 25!! ❤🍾
So happy we got JT's bass back! This whole song is so fantastic! DURAN IS THE BEST!
💯🔥
Absolxxx
Here here 👍🏻🎤🕺
Not to mention Roger's brilliant drumming :)
These guys have the Midas touch. Everything they have produced in the 2000s is off this planet. I wish I was Nick Rhodes. Damn!
Johns funky octave groove is classic to me, just hearing those pops and snaps that he does so well.
This song would make for some great remixes in the right hands
I'm hungry like the Wolf for this album ❤️
I'm a child from the 90's.
My father used to blast Duran Duran alot in my childhood years, which resulted in me developping an affinity for the 80' 90's music.
They fucking went all-in with this song !
Absolutely outstanding, I would have never tought that Duan Duran would be able to pull a hit in the years to come !
Well Played Duran Duran, WP
That's a good pops you got.
You're very lucky that your father has such excellent taste :)
simply put the best damn band in the world these guys should have been put in the rock and roll of fame long ago yet they still get passed over by artists and bands not even close to the talent duran duran has.
Now I know why I was addicted to Duran Duran in the 80's.
Amazing Band and I am so looking forward to the new Album.
Duran Duran are back👍🇨🇭❤🇨🇭❤🇨🇭❤

I've been a long time fan, and this song, is awesome. I love this band because of their unique sound, and of course, Mr Simon John Charles Le Bon, his voice is outstanding!
Love this track ,sounds like something from the 80s yet modern .
The Best song from Duran Duran new Album! It remember parts of The Reflex and Hungry Like the Wolf!
Duran Duran For Life!
LOVE this! It is Duran Duran perfection! The intro gives me Planet Earth vibes and the verse comes in all Wild Boys and it spins off from there - sooooooooo good!
Great bass to this , Duran's songs are best when every member gets to play their individual instruments.
Agreed! The bass is almost invisible on Invisible.
I totally agree!
Um. When do they not play their individual instruments?
@@needsmoreclipping Yeeaaaahhhhh!!!! Good question!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😜😜😜
@@needsmoreclipping Yep. John plays something completely different on a few songs - not an actual bass. As a result you don't hear an actual bass sound - no real groove.
Simon's voice has only improved over the years. Have you all seen him cover "In a Broken Dream"? My gosh!
Yes, I did. It gave me chills and made me cry just like when Whitney Houston sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl after 9/11.
Yes, very very good, would be great to have him do a studio recording of it.
the 80s are back, big boys! 💪💪💪 Good job
Cool party song - perfect for celebrating DD's 40th anniversary! It is fantastic to hear a genuine 80s era band bringing back the fun sounds of that time into a newer 2021 song.
The keyboard synth sounds in this song is like a blend of "Reflex", "View To a Kill" and "Election Day" with a medley of other early DD songs. I think I will prefer to listen to this on a real analog stereo, just like we did in the 80s!
This would be a perfect opening song, when performed live
Oh yes!!!
It'll take the audience so high~~~~~~~
here you go. Enjoy: ua-cam.com/video/iEtqCmYDq2A/v-deo.html

Touching/for the soul takes, really~ BRAVO/APPLAUSE curtsey Moscow
This is it! This is my favorite thus far. 🔥💝🥂✨ Especially love the keyboards on the bridge.
I have loved Duran Duran from the beginning; but I have to say, everything since Astronaut has been amazing! This song tops it all since that point! I loved, All You Need Is Now, but to me this is the crescendo!
the bass line!!!!!!! wow wow .....
Oh, this is amazing. Very layered, light and dark, old school and modern. Blown away.
I loved the beat , as soon as i heard it 😊 way to go Duran Duran - still love you after ALL these years
The anticipation is killing me! Everything so far about this new album has been impressive. There is no other band like Duran Duran; I am so grateful to be on this continuous journey with them! x

Like a fine wine , Duran Duran keep getting better and better with each new song, love ❤️ the keyboard action in the song!!
Hello Patricia..
I'm disappointed. I had to scroll past the top 15 comments to find one about how they're "like a fine wine." I wanted to take a shot before now 🥺
Hell ya hot!🥵
@@TheDistressedSetlist I have cases of the fine wine. Don't celebrate alone to the groove of the rythum of Duran Duran. Share the exquisite wine with friends among us. It time to refresh your pallet and dance.
This song sounds awesome .. definitely guys found fountain youth on song … peace ✌️ be with you rock on …
Desde Argentina Forever Duran Duran
I love how Duran Duran is always moving forward, always looking for new sounds and new challenges. I do prefer when they don't get away from the guitar. I think they are at their best when they have a good balance of guitar, bass, and keyboards. So I am a bigger fan of All You Need Is Now album over Paper Gods. But we all have our opinions and no one more right than another. Sounds like this album is a nice blend.
This is retro in all the right ways, makes me feel like its the 80's and everything is seemingly enough ok that life didn't suck.
A Duranic masterpiece. Totally at home in today's charts and faithful to DD's roots. Legendary.
The phrase "aged like a fine wine", applies to this-- the ultimate quintessential pop group EVER! With each release from the upcoming album! OMG! How many of their 80s contemporaries can make such a claim?! Hhmmm?
…..the others are mostly dead!
I’m glad the boys are back!! They are the remaining band for me to see. Keeping my eyes open for a stateside tour.
I can see the Arenas falling down, the clubs dancing, Best sensation since ordinary World first listening on the radio, or watching the reflex on the tv. This track is a knok out for everyone, fans, crítics....
This is the best bass I've heard from John since the All You Need is Now album.
This channels the energy, hope and promise that epitomised the 80s….. if you are old enough to remember the 80s…. You’ll know how blessed you were. Awesome track.
This makes me grin ear to ear!! John and Roger are OWNING it!!
They are actually playing!!!!!
I'm soooooo glad that John is playing bass again on these songs!
Dispiace solo che non ci sia più Andy o warren alle chitarre
The guys just sound so happy on this track - made me smile!!
Great song. The sound of Duran Duran without sounding like a pastiche of themselves.
Meravigliosamente sempre Duran Duran in puro stile duraniano e con hit citate😍. Buon 40esimo anniversario super fab DD
Because Simon's voice is SO iconic and virtually timeless. Swoon!
They played It (with Sunrise) live 3 hours ago on an Italian music TV show: Brilliant! Everything was perfect and Simon sang beautifully 😍
Yeah. Just heard that. He nailed that vocal live. Respect.
Duran Duran are perpetually producing consistent high quality tunes
Well, HELLO AGAIN BOYS! 💯👌👌Brings me back to the 80's 💯
