Just applied my first set of Impress nails today and I’m completely obsessed!!! So now spending my evening searching for tips, tricks & inspo. Love your videos and subscribed! Keep posting!😘
Hello! I removed my first set of ImPRESS Nails last night and I am addicted already! I used the included orange stick to remove my nails and they came off in less than 5 minutes! I will put on another set tonight or tomorrow. Thank you for the video and the tips! Gail
Beautiful sweater, i love the pearl! And i wanna say maybe sometime i write funny it's because i'm a french women from Montréal, Canada. But i try to do my best in english and it's good practice! 👍😊
Hi! My name is Kat, and I am an Impress nail addict. 😅 I am doing good if i get three days in between sets. I have them off right now and the struggle to not put some back on is real.
Do you ever have a problem with green fungus on your nails after you remove them? I recently ran into that problem for the first time. I am actually using Dashing Diva Magic Press nails, and i brush on some glue, then remove the nail tab and press on thoroughly. At about the 7 to 10 day mark, the nail can begin to lift at the cuticle, but is solidly adhered at the tip. Sometimes i fudge and just let it go until it pops off by itself (I'm all about getting the longest wear out of each set...LOL). Using the glue in addition to the adhesive properties of the nail really increase my wear time. I'd appreciate any thoughts, Mia. I think your channel is awesome.
I've never personally encountered the fungus, but a commenter a couple years ago told me she would get it after using a press ons. I did some researching and it could be because of moisture on the nail pre application or if someone has candida overgrowth in their body in general. I get lazy sometimes and don't use the alcohol prep before hand, but I think it helps disinfect and dehydrate. Just some thoughts! Thanks for watching 🌞
Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm careful to have my nails dry before application as well as use an alcohol swab. One guess is that the cuticle portion of the nail lifts while the tip holds tight for several more days. I'm inclined to leave it until it gives way completely, but that may allow water to get trapped. I'll try being more diligent to remove nails as soon as the cuticle lifts...but also be careful about your suggestions. I really appreciate your suggestion to leave nails off for a week before applying the next set. I really love wearing nails and hate to go a week, but sounds like a super idea.@@MiaHasDiggles
These are the self stick press on (no glue) set, right? My experience taking them off is the opposite. The sticky substance can be left behind, it lifts the top layer of my nail bed, and none of them “pop” off.
@@MiaHasDiggles oh, weird! The Kiss Impress sets have always lasted 1-2 weeks for me and I never use additional glue. I took off my last set after about a week leaving my ring finger accent nails on for the next set. Another week has gone by and the 2 from first set are still holding strong!
How does the Power Flex glue not damage your nails when you take them off?!?! I am so scared of nail glue. I've really damaged my nails with liquid glue before. I also don't understand how people soak off their nails without the whole nail dissolving in the acetone. Lol
Oh no! It has this gummy texture that stays behind on the nail when I pull the nail off which seems to protect my nail from lifting up during removal. I then gently file it off afterward.
I fond that keeping my nails almost as long as the impress nails I am putting on, gives them more strength.

Good idea using the orange stick! I usually toss it but I'll save it for removal next time. 😀
How long did your set last?
@@jazminet.daniel241 My first set was on for 9 days! No problems! The instructions stated 7 days but I pushed it a little! :)
I love wearing impress nails and your videos have been so helpful. Thank you!
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching 🌞

I love a good pearl detail lately. Your English is great! So cool to talk to someone from Canada!

I'm impatient to let them rest before a new set as well! I get excited to try new ones but it's worth it. 🧡

Yes, paired with the powerflex nail glue. I don't use press ons without additional glue or they pop off the same day! Lol

@@tiffanyreed7682 that's awesome! I wish they would last like that for me too!

@@MiaHasDiggles I will have to give this one a try then. I want to seal at least the cuticle area and the sides with it
What glue do you use? My impress nails don’t include glue in the kit.
Kiss power flex nail glue! Paired with impress or dashing diva press ons, it's the best combo!
Oops i just saw that you use the Kiss Powerflex glue
No problem! If you try it, I hope it works for you
I have issues with excess glue lingering behind
I wipe away excess as I'm pressing down..hope that helps!
Your’s are the perfect length and shape. Do you file them?
Thanks Donna! I do. If you're interested, I show my shaping and filing tips is another video on my channel.
