What a welcoming back video.. Did I say that already ? Well it’s worth saying it twice… just in at 14:45… 👍👍 a narley bit 👍👍👍🏍️🏍️🏍️
Awesome mate. Father son team. Great video mate.. can’t wait for more. It’s been a while. Yes you did say it was going to be.. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.. great editing 👍👍
Thanks 👍 no I didn’t gpx the route, although I did create some way points in the Garmin XT based on the rough direction of travel before leaving the UK, and then just headed in a rough Easterly direction, planning each days route over breakfast etc
Fantastic video guys, just a quick question I’ve just bought the Tenere 700 world raid and mounted the Garmin Zumo, XT I’m getting quite a lot of vibration and wobble on the GPS can you recommend the moment to prevent this? Thanks paul
Thanks Paul… I’ve mounted the Garmin using the short RAM Mount which also has a rubber/plastic insert to reduce vibration. I’ll try and find a link and post it here in a bit
Here you go Paul… this is what I use, but make sure you have the collar and fixing plate that came with the Garmin, this allows you to connect it up to the RAM mount www.amazon.co.uk/RAM-Mount-ram-b-408-37-62U/dp/B01GQE7506/ref=asc_df_B01GQE7506/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=372895728902&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4021999981583249918&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045676&hvtargid=pla-380516434938&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=78203270324&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=372895728902&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4021999981583249918&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045676&hvtargid=pla-380516434938

Sorry to say that I don’t have any gpx files. All of my trips are planned around pin drops or waypoints on my gps, for places and mountain tracks that look interesting. For instance the Col du Sommellier or Mont Jafferau can be found on google maps and then stored in a gps ready for any trip, that’s the kinda thing I do

@@masonsruggedroads that’s interesting I went for the rally raid Mount getting quite a bit of vibration
I wonder how many people bought this bike on the back of Motorcycle Adventures.
Many people I’d imagine, and also those who are still longing to seek out an adventure no doubt
