Great clip. Great energy. Thank you! A must on the bucket list. Where do I go to get a map of the climbs in the video? You and your crew got me stoked enough to get my 9 year old twins out there this summer... Please tell me there's an attachment [somewhere] with locations...D. Lake isn't a miniature golf course, she's got mass and endless trails...don't let me down, *where's the map!!!
Hi Gabriel, no map unfortunately but if you pick up one of the two guidebooks to the area then you should be able to find all of these problems fairly easily. Devil's Lake takes a bit of time to get used to but once you do it's pretty easy to get around! Have fun out there!
Hey I just saw this and wanted to reply! Sorry for missing this one earlier. Fully agree with you and it's something I dislike about the video when I look back on it. In short, I filmed this over the course of 2-3 weeks while working a full time job and organizing the event that went hand in hand with this video. It was way too tight of a timeline - 4-6 months would've been ideal - so I defaulted to my absolute closest friends that I'd filmed with before so that we could work quickly. Doing that did allow me to work as quick as possible but as you noticed the film has zero diversity and that's on me. I genuinely wish I'd have diversified the climbers in the film because it's not representative of the Madison climbing community.
Definitely my favorite Midwest climbing film
Very neat film showcasing the bouldering here. I had never heard of this place but now would love to check it out!
