I had the same cartridge 4 in 1. It also had Tiny Toons and The Flinstones but with Sonic The Hedgehog and Bart vs the space mutants (the only bad game) instead of Bomberman and Mickey Mouse.
I remember when I played this game. I COULDN'T BEAT ANYTHING, I didn't even knew how to move or climb. Not even on easy. And then I suddenly knew how to after mashing buttons and could beat easy. Then I went and managed to beat normal then hard. One stage almost needed me to be pixel perfect because I barely know how to do the stage. Eventually I beat the game once and months later forgot how to win.
All these gameplays make games look extremely easy and us 80s and 90s people feel like morons for not being able to complete them back in the day with the console. But seriously, some games were really hard, this was one of them. Anyway, beautiful childhood memories.

The look of this game is incredible. The backgrounds are pretty good most of the time and excellent at others. On summer action movies, Siskel and Ebert would say that the movie is only as good as its villain..and here,...the sprites on the baddies are awesome.

It looked kinda cheesy and boring back in the day, in comparison with any of the Flintstones games for famicom. And too short too. Better Graphics was the only improvement, but gameplay? Quite the opposite. And also you can only play Fred, and that character switching mechanic was really awesome in famicom version.
Too bad that there's no video game for Penelope Pitstop, since that's not the best of Hannah Barbara. It's quite surprising to see how Penelope Pitstop, gets out of these predicaments the Hooded Claw/Sylvester Sneakily puts her into. 😳

Why is falling in the water on stage 1 an instant kill when stage 2 is set entirely underwater? Is it 'cause the water's shark-infested on stage 1? Maybe I'm wasting my time looking for logic here....
This game Legitly brings back memories. I could not beat one those later bosses for Nothing!!! in this game and i loved the basketball part of the game too.

Gameplay is very great, it's like a somewhat remake of the NES one. my criticism to the game is the short length music. game would've been more exciting if they added more dinosaur buddies to ride instead of one. or more new power ups. i played the game on a Nintendo Wii U system through Homebrew, and emulation.
Hi! I hope this is the right place to ask :D I remembered playing "this" Flintstone game in my PC in DOS mode (actually I can't remember it, since I was about 3-6 years old). Everytime Fred smash his club, there are burger, fried chicken and one of the stage is food stage, where Fred running in downhill giant-straw, if I make Fred running really fast, he will jump out the straw and the game end. I need to know, what title is "this" Flintstone game series? and what platform does it play actually? I really appreciate your effort if you can help me :) @world of Longplays
